Nice, it's really good blade for the money and is a nice in-between 05 and 01 (or harimoto and viscaria). It's as shame pro 03 doesn't have many reviews.
But share your thoughts once you've tested pro 03. I found it better than 970klc..
I got a good one on Aliexpress. 90g weight and 1356hz frequency. I glued up my normal rubbers: Sanwei Target 3 National medium-hard and Gewo Proton Neo 450.
After two weeks of testing, I 100% agree with your assessment: it's basically a controlled version of Pro 01, and the control comes from more dwell time. On the forehand side, it really feels like you are holding the ball and then launching it out.
My main blade is Pro 01x, and I used to have Pro 01 and 05. I could easily use 03 as my main blade. The only reason I will not switch to it is just personal preference. The handle on 03 is slightly thinner than 01, and 03 has strong vibrations. Pro 03 does have a lower throw angle too.
Pro 03 is a really great blade and I think most amateurs should buy it vs. Pro01; I have no idea why it's the cheapest in the Pro series. I can't think of a single weakness.
