FZD ALC vs Viscaria are the differences actually significant? My measurements surprised me

Fzd alc and Viscaria are very different.

Fzd alc has more control, Viscaria catapults more.
I just recently (< 1 week) got my fzd alc running after playing viscaria for about 2 years and I feel the same way.

Same rubbers on both set ups

Vis 92g
FZD 91g

Differences I noticed:
FZD handle feels much more square. Bouncing the ball on the paddle, I was surprised how much less rebound it had but also how much more clear the vibrations were compared to the viscaria.

One thing that I thought was very strange was that the viscaria's handle feels much more dense than the fzd... But that could just be 2 years with of sweat soaking in... 😅 I really like that dense handle feeling and the difference is so noticable that I'm wondering if the vis has a solid handle and the fzd has a hollow one

Overall though, it wasn't so different that I had to do any major adjustments to my tech. I mainly switched because I have large hands and thought that it might be more comfortable when I played for a long time. Something else I noticed is that my backhand grip seems a bit more stable/repeatable because of the square handle.

We could speculate that maybe Butterfly tries to specifically pick different wood properties between each blade for the ply construction, but I'm extremely skeptical that this would be the case considering they're mass produced and I have a hard time believing that even Butterfly would spend extra resources making sure an FZD gets a specific type of koto vs Viscaria.
It might well be that Butterfly first builds the blade heads, then divides them, puts the FZD handle on the softer, less bouncier ones, and puts the Viscaria handle on the harder, more catapult-like ones.

Anyway, this is just a theory, and it might not be true at all!
