Usually when people want slow and very spinny, hurricane 3 is one of the first choices. But in this case if you want good feel, you could try the hurricane 8-80.

Older Donic blades have much smaller headsize than butterfly.

Darker has some great 1ply hinoki blades, and palio makes some nice carbon jpen.

I'd stay away from sanwei, they have good blades but their rubbers are either lacking in several sectors, or pure junk, depending on model. Friendship-729 have much better rubbers, battle 2 is one of the most popular hurricane 3 competitors, and has many versions. Battle max and battle 2 gold...

I mean, it's up to preference. Blades are different, maybe swap out the rubbers between the blades and see what rubbers you like on what blade.

I like it everywhere, I can counter really good with it, and rallies are decent too. Even short game is good, the only bad thing is price.

+1 Any of these will work. Much better than p1r and feint 3 to start, they're more well mannered than the more expensive ones that are for a higher skill level.

I'd say check some soft rubber. I tried a jpen with calibra lt sound and it was magic.

Didn't it used to be like that in the early models? Both before they changed the logo, when it had the asymmetric wings, and for some time right after the logo change. Then at some point they removed the shield and put the lens. I think at the time the asymmetric logo on the face of the blade...

The shield thing on both sides was the old design, I remember seeing these before the redesigns and updates in their lineup, in fl and st of course, in the local bty shop many many years ago. Though this one is fake, bty wouldn't mess up the handle alignment that bad.

I did the same thing, I found my old viscaria and my coach gave me his old rubbers. Got tired and fed up with trying to find the perfect setup and ended up throwing away all old rubbers and put my blades in storage.
