I once tried Gewo hype XT pro 40 on a Palio E03 blade and found it too soft. Don't know what's the hardness on ESN scale (maybe 40? as it's called pro40), but that was pretty soft for me, maybe cz I'm used to Gear Hyper 39 degrees (Chinese scale I think) on my BH.

Totally agree with @Yurifi's advice: better slow than uncontrolled..

Hurricanes demand lot of topspin technique for a good control, don't go for those. As you're in developing stages, I'd say Yasaka Mark V will be a suitable option. Otherwise softer version of R7 would work for you (haven't used it personally but got plenty of recommendations).

Have recently joined it and have embedded my RC rating info in it. Yet to use this for 1-on-1 challenges though. Looks exciting.

I'm using FL on both of my setups just because one of the them (Aurora Shield Hex) only comes in FL & CS, and the other one was a gift from my club. Had been using Joola Falcon Fast (ST) before these and miss that alot.

thanks Zwill Yeah, PK50 has sadly been discontinued.. and very interesting to know that G1 isn't like Gear-Hyper, seems I'm totally unaware of G1 performance

Cheers Tyce, I agree, more suggestions would just confuse more. The other setup's just a backup, sometimes use in practice sessions. Since the two blades are quite different, I'm not aware of any new rubber that works well with that combo, which is why I'm a bit hesitant about going for G1...
