  1. My opinion about Fextra 7 👎

i didnt like fextra either (fextra cpen) but ig it has to do with the quality control bc i thought that the fextra FL that i brought for my younger brother to replace his broken blade was pretty damn good. personally i prefer hard outerply blades bc of their feel, i am currently rocking a koto...
  2. Fancy blades are just not worth it

i dont think that my yasaka blades were expensive but they are pretty fancy to me  i wouldve gotten more chinese-brand blades if only their blades had a better visual design to them. butterfly makes the most visually appealing blades imo, followed by stiga (the CR blades dont count).
  3. Does stretching rubber alter the throw angle?

i dont feel like it did anything except for making my rubber shrink in size a little when i take it off
  4. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

i think i finally get what it means to use my core to hit forehand strokes i am not going to lie when i say that ive always been confused by forehand tutorials telling you to "tighten your core/stomach" upon impact with the ball. i literally just sucked my stomach in and nothing really happened...
  5. New version of Battle II. (NEO)

if it has a better sponge than OG B2BS it might be worth getting one, tbh the sponge of the OG B2BS is pretty bad, had much better time using other chinese rubbers but atm i will just let others buy and test it first before i splunge one dinner's worth of money with my darling on a potentially...
  6. Friendship 2-in-1 new sponge?

big fan of ur reviews - always read ur posts back in mytabletennis anyway yall should get to seamooning the rubbers and see how the 2 layered sponge reacts bc it would be interesting to find out how it plays
  7. Questions about hardwood blades from an equipment junkie

yasaka goiabao 5 is the only hardwood blade i owned and i loved it a lot more than other blades ive used it has its own set of flaws (weight, bouncy in short game, rpb is not as good as koto outer layer blades, need fast arm swing to get the most out of it) but i still find it a very...
  8. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

only one thing left to try; adding a bit of that magic seamoon juice
  9. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

im too stubborn for that seems like pips on FH is my destiny sooner or later, just like my coach suggested i am restructuring my forehand under the guidance of my coach though so fingers crossed that things would just click one day
  10. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

@mattlamperouge how does R9 compare to battle 2 blue sponge?
  11. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

augh my rpb is currently better and more reliable than my forehand....... im failing to live up to the penholder stereotype
  12. What rubbers have the strongest reaction to booster?

i am not an EJ (i am a cheapskate) but here r my experiences ever since i had seamoon. reactor tornado v5 is better with booster but i find it to be too soft for the FH. otherwise, it has nice spin. it is pretty damn good on BH after the tackiness wears off a little. reactor thunder already...
  13. Under $5 rubbers

    normal seamoon 2 thin layers
  14. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

im wondering if its time to change my forehand rubber after using it for only 3 months the topsheet is still grippy but hitting with it really doesnt feel as good as it used to be, even after reboosting it. mushy feel and the spin isnt quite there anymore.
  15. Under $5 rubbers

it depends on the blade you use too i had V5 on a stiff blade with hard outerply (rosewood)
  16. Under $5 rubbers

ahh im not ready to part ways with my rakza yet....... i also need to try out fastarc c-1 and vega asia, kokutaku can wait for me
  17. Under $5 rubbers

reactor tornado v5 boosted is rly good on the backhand never used kokutaku and sanwei target
  18. Have you "successfully" learned Ma Long's Forehand technique?

no bc i am a penholder  so instead of ma long i try to emulate RSM's forehand it got me mostly nowhere the way he drops his arm straight down made my stroke recovery more sluggish than ever and introduced a bad habit i am still trying to fix to this day but what i did learn copying...
  19. new long pips (igor, don't click on this link - stay away!)

i would comb my hair with my racket and the oil from my hair would turn the new long pips frictionless
  20. What are your top annoyances about assembling your own table tennis bats?

    1. glue clotting when spread (mostly happens when i try to use opened glue thats already been sitting on my desk for months) 2. properly lining up cut rubbers to the blade 3. having to switch blades to a sharper one everytime i need to cut a new rubber to ensure a neater cut
