Excuse my ignorance in this reply.. BH I can feel the ball hitting wood, it feels much harder than FH. FH feels quite soft and this may also relate to me thinking it's a bit slower. I wouldn't say I feel the ball anywhere as much as with BH. I have a lot more control over heavy spin with...

I think you might be right. Its entirely possible that with all the sweaty play in my friends grubby garage over the years that the blue has worn out of it. There still is a kind of blue/purple tinge to it.

Thanks for that. I took the edge protection off the side of the blade but didn't find any etching. I few little dents but no etching..
