  2. Carbon/Composite Blade with an All Wood Feel

I guess I should have clarified that I was looking for an offensive blade
  3. Carbon/Composite Blade with an All Wood Feel

I've briefly tried a friends Fukuhara and it was very nice! Soft touch, beautiful vibrations, though i could definitly feel the ayous core in it, but it didn't spoil the fun :) The problem is it's hard to get beacause it has been discontinued. Liu Shiwen is discontinued as well. Pro Pro blade...
  4. Carbon/Composite Blade with an All Wood Feel

That's a very good advice. So far i think i've managed to determine 3 things: 1. I do prefer outer limba and spruce over koto. 2. I like a clear feedback upon ball contact. That's why i don't like new alc blades much - they are muted. But i do like allwood and zylon for the clear vibrations...
  5. Similar Butterfly blade to Syntelliac VCI

As you've mentioned the EC of VCI is a little bit higher which indicates that the VCI is a little bit stiffer on harder shots. But my main concern is much higher Ec/Ep wich indicates that extra hard kick (less hold of the ball) when going hard into the ball.
  6. Similar Butterfly blade to Syntelliac VCI

From his measurments Vci looks harder than Xiom AJH TMXi which i don't believe to be possible.

  8. Similar Butterfly blade to Syntelliac VCI

Hello! So did you manage to find a proper replacement? Or just bought another one VCI?
  9. Review: Butterfly Revoldia CNF

And does it vibrate much? How clear is the feedback upon the ball contact?
  10. Yasaka Atletico Balance?

So, how is it going? Do you play with this blade?
  11. Review: Butterfly Revoldia CNF

Good to hear that you're coping well! Any particular reason you prefer SAL to all the others mentioned?
  12. Carbon/Composite Blade with an All Wood Feel

To revive the thread. I've tried Loki Telson CNF - the playing characteristics are somewhere between Korbel and Viscaria. It is pretty fast, feels kinda hard on softer shots and soft on harder shots. All forehand shots are landing on the table with decent pace and a lot of spin, but i prefer...

    Wish you luck mate.
  14. People who switched from carbon back to wood, how’s it going?

Thanks for the reply. The weight difference is there and i guess the balance must have played an even bigger role. Oh yes the struggle of finding a comfy handle is real :) I'm playing with grip tape myself. Good to hear that you've found the one that you like! Cheers
  15. People who switched from carbon back to wood, how’s it going?

Well, that explains it - a heavier blade with a more head heavy balance indeed should be faster. Do you know the exact weight of both blades? That would be very helpful because I want to buy an S-CZ but I don't know which weight to choose.
  16. People who switched from carbon back to wood, how’s it going?

Hello! I've been reading all the info available on the S-CZ and came across this thread. Here you are saying that the Long 7 is "significantly faster" than S-CZ but that contradicts the rest of the info available online about both of that blades! So could you please elaborate on your setups...
