For 12 rubbers (Kokutaku 868) it cost me 35$ USD delivered, and maybe 10$ more for hardware. Obviously i don't leave them outside, so i think durability will be good. A few years maybe. And i keep my old rubbers, i will add patch if needed. :)

I'm using Cornilleau Target Pro XD. Four months old. They show some signs of usage but they still perform very well. Hit to the table dosen't break the topsheet edge. I'm satisfied.

You can make sure that the way you grip the racket is ok and don't change when you transition from BH to FH. Especially the index finger moving up during the forehand stroke. This cause the bat angle to change and it's hard to have a good FH topspin. I'm actually working on this exact problem.
