  1. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

That 100% makes sense especially with the evolving game, but wouldn't you just play SH by then? There is 0 use for penholders since RPB is ever so slightly weaker than the SH backhand. However, I think of it this way: TPB and RPB are two halves of a whole, both together to match SH backhand in...
  2. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

It still is though? Ma Lin, Wang Hao, Xu Xin, picking one is your opinion, and is your preference, bias.
  3. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

Fair enough, but a true penholder also uses TPB xD
  4. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

gng I don't even sand my racket
  5. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

No I mean TPB makes it easier to make spin. For chopping, you can see that the transition does just that. For sidespin, see Ma Lin. For against, I'd say they're equal, except backspin where RPB takes the cake
  6. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

Tpb is just better for the other spins, so I always suggest learning both Ps: by other spins I mean backspin and sidespin
  7. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

Most likely just bias xD, I much prefer these over Ma Lin (except TPB)

  11. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

Interesting proposal I must say... I never disagreed with you cuh I'm just saying that they might be doing something else wrong that is worsened because the index is higher up because the handle is thicker. Well for me, those two grips are the basic ones because backhand TPB and RPB still...
  12. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

Felix is tall though! That could be the case, but I think they did something wrong which was made worse by the finger on the handle Interesting proposal, but for me either Wang Hao or Dang Qiu is the way to go TLDR: respond to me
  13. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

Oh my bad I was rushing the form ehe, but yeah it should be more open! Yep we are Zee Ache! And of course I'll give you juicy hand pics (more in dm big boy 👅) Yeah but this may be the cause of the problem... Yes king, I'm that commanding Yeah I know I was rushing it Zee Ache! Do the one I...
  14. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

Look at how I hold the racket. I think it's because your index is on the handle...
  15. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

I think it's because your index is on top of the handle, not just the tip... This is how I hold mine
  16. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

why is the index of top of the handle apart from that, everything is good! Now, I want to see you hold it like RPB
  17. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

Yes! Someone who gets it! No! Someone who doesn't!
  18. First Time Penholder: Help me out!

A 90 degree angle in this scenario doesn't mean an open racket. What is the other way you can input degrees for racket position? Think about that
