I have this pair since April. It's very robust, but I need this because I have feet problem, and I prefer a very stable shoe rather than a dynamic one :

Completly overkill. Yinhe T10s for blade, Rxton 1 for forehand and Mercury 2 on backhand. 18€/$. This already good enough to have a regional level.
What will make your strokes faster is training to improve your technique, that's all.
Shore C Durometer measurement. I'll make a post someday with measurement of dozens of rubbers. The initial indication by the manufacturer is never relevant.
I fear that, unboosted, Volant Phoenix would be the same than Jupiter on the BH. You'll have full review of everything I can test. Here are the setups I plan to make first :
Probable that Volant Phoenix 2 and QIJI will need to be boosted, Loki Arthur Asia too (and Aurora for sure).
Jupiter never needed boosting on my fast blades in FH (because my technique is poor and I can't handle a too fast setup on the FH), that's why I did not boost before using for my BH, but definitely will boost to make another attempt.
I discovered yesterday that Big Dipper (Red 38°) comes pre-glued. I mean pre glued and not pre boosted (we already know that). In one corner of the sponge, there was a little bulge. And it was identical to the one we do when we start removing the glue from a rubber. I let it like that, glued...
I read them, but you could have changed your mind since. I'll have basically all your recommandations anyway 😅
Here's what's coming along with my blades in my extreme EJ :
I think GoldArc 8 and H3 Neo OS boosted would be worth the try on the BH.
Jupiter 3 is not bouncy enough for BH. I find it perfect for FH, but I think it needs to be boosted for my BH for blocks at mid distance. Or maybe QIJI, Volant Phoenix 2, Aurora Max Boosted, Loki GTX boosted, Bloom Power boosted, Moon 12,... would be better suited for the BH? What's your...
Fang Bo B2 and Yinhe 05 have not been shipped yet, so the comparison won't be possible before 10 2 weeks I think. But of course, this was the purpose of part of my EJ, compare the Long V clones.
I love it. I already have one since April, my 1st AliExpress purchase for table tennis. It's not that fast, I control it better than the outter carbons, and it suits Arthur China or Big Dipper perfectly. This one is the second one, to test alternate setup (will be with Battle 3 FH and Volant...
As said, it might have improved his efficiency, not his technique. It did not improve his hand work, his elbow work, his foot work,...
Myselft, 3 months ago, if I switched back to tensor, I would have improved my efficiency, but not my technique.
You talk about someone with perfect technique, perfect footwork, who can adapt at the lightning speed to any racquet. That's irrelevant compared to the issues of amateur players. The rubber will never improve the technique of anyone. It might improve the efficiency when your technique is already...
I experimented the opposite this year. I had a very perfectible forehand, never trained it, very sloppy gesture, very poor technique. I always used very bouncy and soft tensor rubbers to compensate my flaws. And it was "working", I was winning with my BH, and my forehand
Then, I decided to...
Do you boost Volant Phoenix ?
For now, I boosted nothing except my GTX Pro et my Murcury II. Also an Arthur China but it was a mistake, it became too fast for me.
