Hi Vince, no spin serves are tricky. Here is a nice tutorial on serve receive by top north american player. At 4:26, he shows how to effectively return a no-spin serve. Check it out, you'll find it useful.

They ought to disqualify Shibaev for a season and impose a serious fine on the club he plays for. This is the only way to preclude such asinine behaviour from happening again.

Thanks for the very interesting read. It is simply great that all the ex-champions continue to give back to the TT community by running TT schools, coaching centers, etc. IMHO, it is a great way to keep TT popular, and grow new TT talent.

I will probably get crucified for writing this, but IMO LG's characterization of ML as "lacking a distinguished style" is correct - ML is the perfect embodiment of classic TT technique, and he's bloody fast as well, but he does not have a unique style - unlike, say, Ma Lin or Wang Hao.
