  1. We all know cleaning is good...

I'm sorry but that vid is dumber than dirt. What a waste of time and electricity. Of course that's whats going to happen, only a total idiot wouldn't get it.
  2. Viscaria Blade Winner!!!

Aw I didn't win, but Lulabell bought me a Viscurella blade and now I'm beaten the pants of of Bubba. I didn't know you had to buy the rubbers extra so I cut out some of an old tire that was in the garage and it works purdy good. You guys are fun. Maybe if you get good enuff you can come play...
  3. What table tennis rubbers & blade do you use?

Anyone really remember what I play with. :) Blade: Donic Epox Power Carbon FL FH: Yasaka Extend HS Max BH: BTY Sriver 2.1 Donic Epox Series blades have superb build quality for the money.
  4. How do you celebrate a point??

I don't like emotional highs and lows during a match I just keep focus on the next point to be played.
  5. Timo Boll Spirit

TBS is fine for intermediate level players depending on rubber type and thickness. Sriver 1.9 or Mark V 1.8 works great on the TBS for mid level players. Tensors that are mild are ok like Yasaka Extend ot BTY Solcion. TBS not recommended for beginners. Advanced players need 2.1-Max on the TBS...
  6. How do you go about practice?

Lulabell lets me go play them other fellers on sunday nite. Sometimes they don't let me play cause they say I got poor higene or somthin like that. Then I go home and play Bubba and Lulabell on the kitchen table. I quit when Lulabell starts a throwin chicken bones at me cause she says I can't...
  7. What are your ambitions?

My ambition is too have enough energy to go to the club. Once I get there I usually want to go home and watch that fly fishing show with Lulabell.:)
  8. What is a good blade for me?

The LKT Toxic 3 or 5 would be perfect for your game. Combine with 802 rubber and you can chop like crazy on the BH and hit like a demon on the FH. and the whole setup is not expensive.
  9. what are people using to boost rubbers now due to the glue ban?

I usually stand my paddle up in a corner get a chair and talk to it. When it plays well I praise it, when it's bad (missing shots) it has to do time out in the corner for a day. This week it has been really bad. :)
  10. If you could improve one thing in your TT what would it be?

Age specific cognitive decline...........What's the score? My serve? Where the hell did I put my racket! :)
  11. if you are winning 10-0....

I would never give a point away ever. I have had a tournament match where I was ahead 10-0 and my opponent scored 11 straight points to win. I am all for good sportmanship but it ain't over till it's over. Perhaps at the world level that would be appropriate since the skill level and knowledge...
  12. Whose the best player you've ever played against?

Back in the 80's I played an exibition match with Shawn O'Neal a U.S. champion. He needed lodging so he stayed with me and found him to be a great guy and exceptional athlete.
  13. Spin art

Yes the hurricane series, Donic Barracuda, and many others have fantastic spin but at a reasonable price. Spin Art is an overpriced product from Butterfly.
  14. What is the best alternative for Tenergy 05?

Agree nothing like Tenergys. I recently switched from T64 to Yasaka Xtend HS Max and feel it is a superb choice. Plays somewhat like T64 but much more feel with great speed and spin. Just my 2 cent's knowing everyone has their favorites and the selection is vast.
  15. How to return a difficult serve

Great post! Also along with level of player racket surface types effect returns. SP's, medium pips, anti's really help. I recently switched to SP on BH and my service return percentage has vastly improved.
  16. Is table tennis the hardest sport in the world?

I agree with Peter, although a great table tennis player must have high attributes of mental toughness, stamina, and years of training a sport like Ultra Marathons or Iron Man gets my vote.
  17. Timo Boll Spirit

TBS is the a very fine blade for many intermediate to advanced players needing reserve power for hitting and looping close, mid and occasionally away from table. Along with the BTY Primorac is their best seller. The carbon/Arlyate composition provides for large sweet spot and provides a distinct...

Howdy, my name is Ferd and I live near Dog Holler Kentucky. My whole family plays ping pong on the kitchen table every nite. My wife Lulabell just clears the dishes and we can play perdy fast.
