Took me some time till I found an event near me to take this picture..
Here it is, the Youth European Table Tennis Championships 2015, I´ve been there, took the picture, finally!
I just cant wait for Maharu Yoshimura vs. Joo Saehyuk ..
Maharu never lost to Muramatsu, who is a defender, just hope for a big upset against Joo :)
Joo had a tough match against Kenji Matsudaira, 7 sets to beat him and was probably really happy to do so, now Maharu.. well.. Go Maharu! :)
I think you are mistaken.
In fact - the net helps for the return quite a lot!
Dont forget that after hitting a net, the point is NOT WON yet..
And take a look at the ball after hitting the net:
It goes UP and towards the receiving player.
That means what?
You can return it and I would bet my...
But if you take whole europe, the top women players..
Shan Xiaona, Han Ying, Li Jiao, Li Jie, Shen Yanfei, Hu Melek, Jiaduo Wu, Li Xue, Yu Fu, Ni Xia Lian, Li Qian, Liu Jia, Tian Yuan..
I mean - any of those names sound european?
WTF!
I have to say that I hate the fact, that in semifinals of women matches are 3 asian players, that really sucks..
Better in the men semis, where only one is a former asian player..
Anyways, schedule for the final matches:
Bronze Women match: 13:30 Eva Odorová SVK! vs. Hu Melek TUR
Gold Women match: 14:30 Li Jie vs. Li Jiao both NED
Bronze Men match: 16:00 Paul Drinkhall ENG vs. Kou Lei UKR
Gold Women match: 17:00 Dimitrij Ovtcharov GER vs. Vladimir Samsonov BLR
Yeah! :)
Well I had no trouble trough all semis..
Cant wait to the final matches! :)
Dima vs Vladi final will be awesome!
Two team mates facing each other, that sounds promising ;)
So Tomorrow at
8:00 CET Li Jie vs. Eva Odorová
9:00 CET Hu Melek vs. Li JIAO
10:00 Dimitrij Ovtcharov vs. Paul Drinkhall
11:00 Vladimir Samsonov vs. Kou Lei
It is absolutely amazing to me, that in the women semifinals, the only original european player will be from Slovak Republic!
Eva Odorova made huge upsets on her way into semis, and now she is in the top 4 european players for the first time.
Other players are all originally chinese, so she is...
Guys, anyone, help me with results, hows it with the women games?
I see Germany just won over Nederlands in the final, how did the bronze medal go?
When are men bronze and gold medal matches?
Hao Shuai and Chuang Chih Yuan have pretty bad performances to be honest..
Even injured Zhang Jike is far more better than healthy Hao Shuai.
Its kinda weird as Hao was the chinese killer last year... humm...
