  1. Longevity of Hybrid rubbers

Got it. To me it is not too much trouble but that's because I literally play the boosted rubber for 6 months to a year. I think people say you should reboost every 2 months? I have never done that. Agree.
  2. Who's your favorite tt retailer?

For Dandoy, I did a "test" purchase but did not purchase anything. I ordered 11 sheets of G-1 (8 in red and 3 in black, max sponge). Here is what the order was going to be. Cart Subtotal $444.95 Discount (30% starting from 300€ on eligible products) -$133.49 Order Total $311.46 You...
  3. Who's your favorite tt retailer?

I also used to buy from Paddle Palace but yeah they are not competitive at all, anymore. I just checked out Dandoy website. They also carry volume discount. I did pull out an older thread here from 2020 on TTD forum that said Dandoy does not respond in a timely manner. I know TT11 responds...
  4. Suggestion needed for Jr player

Lol, don't entice me into buying 729 Bloom Power now!!! I am going broke. lol! What you described sounds like what I felt when I put Sanwei Target National on my forehand side WITHOUT boosting for the first time. STN is a good product too. And STN did not stench at all coming out of the...
  5. Who's your favorite tt retailer?

In North America, I would use Table Tennis 11, Table Tennis 11 and Table Tennis 11. I supplement it with some stuff from Megaspin that Table Tennis 11 does not carry (such as Sanwei; Table Tennis 11 is also not allowed to ship Butterfly product to North America. Here Butterfly's exclusive...
  6. Come back after 30 years break

Gozo, lol!!! I don't know here you find these interesting photos with memes on them! A few side topics on why I recommend those blades because I have not tried them: Tibhar Dynamic JC Darko Jorgić, please see the following review: https://blog.tabletennis11.com/review-dynamic-jc-darko-jorgic...
  7. Longevity of Hybrid rubbers

H3 regular and H3 neo are not hybrids. But when they are worn down on the top sheet a bit (so losing just a bit tiny less tacky or grippy) and when they are taken off the original racket and boosted the second time, and reattach to the blade again, they play pretty much like a hybrid rubber. So...
  8. Suggestion needed for Jr player

I agree. I do not like the outer carbon such as Viscaria, Acoustic Carbon and DHS Bo blades. I use Chinese rubber on my forehand. I think hard rubber on hard outer layer of carbon/wood just dappen the feelings on the forehand even more. However, if you use Chinese rubber on the FH side for a...
  9. Come back after 30 years break

come on! She should at least look into MX-P, MX-P 50, MX-D and FX-D for rubber. For blades, she should look into Tibhar Dynamic JC Darko Jorgić, Tibhar VS Unlimited and Tibhar Fortino Pro Series. Those blades should give her enough speed.
  10. The Chinese Domination of Table Tennis!!!

A few things: We all want table tennis to be even more popular. If that's case we need to bring English into its marketing. Yes I agree that most of Ma Long's fans speak Chinese only. Yes I agree that majority of Hiya Hayata's fans are Japanese speakers. However, in what language are we...
  11. The Chinese Domination of Table Tennis!!!

Viktor Axelsen's Mandarin is actually very good. I don't need citation and wikipedia. I can tell you it is harder to speak Mandarin coming from Western language background because Mandarin is tonal. It is really hard to hit the tone. It is much easier for Mandarin speaker to learn English...
  12. The Chinese Domination of Table Tennis!!!

Yes it is quite ironic. After I posted it, Ma Long did a speech in English. It was not an interview where he had to listen and respond. It was a prepared speech but a very good speech indeed. And you can see the comment section of the YouTube just lit up. That's my point.
  13. Come back after 30 years break

Lol, Gozo, do you think I can get France to give Tibhar equipment a shot? :) :)
  14. Tibhar EL-D...my new love!

Great! thank you for the feedback. I will use MX-S on the backhand then. I play close to the table.
  15. Tibhar EL-D...my new love!

Interesting. I heard MX-S is good for backhand. People say at MX-P is faster than MX-S, with the latter being a bit softer in the top sheet than MX-P. So MX-P is better for forehand and MX-S is better for backhand? I don't know. I am back to using H3 neo on the forehand. And of course it is...
  16. Tibhar EL-D...my new love!

I have EL-S and Tenergy 05fx right now on various blades. Tenergy 05 fx is EL-S on steroid. I agree. I have not tried EL-D yet. I have an MX-S still in package, not opened.
  17. Upgrade from Stiga OC to Stiga clipper? Rubber?

I would not get carbon. If you like Stiga OC with Tenergy 05fx, then keep the blade and yes to upgrading T05 on both sides. Don't introduce too many variables at once. It is not good for your game. If you like 05 fx, I am sure you will love 05 regular.
  18. Lin-gaoyuan equipment in WTT champions 2023

I don't know. TT11 just did a review on their youtube channel. Half said no difference. Half said provincial blue sponge is better. Obviously in the review they did not test for longevity. They also only boosted each rubber with one layer of booster. As of now, I am stripping old H3 neo...
  19. Come back after 30 years break

Welcome back! And welcome to being a newly addicted EJ! Any new blade or rubber you want to try next? :) :)
  20. Lin-gaoyuan equipment in WTT champions 2023

Yes, that's the thread. Thank you for pulling it up. Quite frankly, I am not sure about the obsession over the exact blades or the rubbers that pro's use. But that's because I know I cannot play with those blades and rubbers. They are either too fast or you need the right training/strength to...
