  1. China Open 2017

So he just gave up? Because of losing the first set?
  2. China Open 2017

It seems it ended. Maybe injury? I just opened the ittv, the scoring board showed 10-7. Might be that ZJK tried to play with injury, but after losing the first set he gave up.
  3. China Open 2017

Ma Long decided using the his BH serve. 1-1 against Tazoe Kenta, who plays very well. In the first set he struggled with short game, but now he found himself. EDIT: I hoped ML will struggle . He didn't: 4-1
  4. China Open 2017

    Harimoto will win 4-2.
  5. China Open 2017

I wonder why china didn't sent U21 players. It's China open, home crowd would be pleased. Plus I think they would earn plus money (more spectator on U21).
  6. China Open 2017

It would be interesting to analyse, what's the reason for LJK's and LGY's loss. The power, speed, and skills are clearly there. It's just mental weakness? Or they are weaker tactically?
  7. China Open 2017

RIP Liang Jingkun. Now we will know how strict will be the CNT coaching staff and if they will send him to other tournaments in the next half year. The doubles draw looks interesting. Finally JNT decided to change the doubles. It seems the Morizono/Oshima Niwa/Yoshimura doubles has been...
  8. TTDaily Members Meet at or Near WTTC

Well, I think there are TTD members who live closer to tournaments. :) Trust me, there are a lot of stuff that I miss because it's in the US. Or Japan. Or Hawaii. C'est la vie. Be positive.
  9. How to keep a consistent forehand topspin ??

Hi Khang, pretty much everything is mentioned above. It's natural that you have problems with consistency, with time it will improve. I know, I've started at your age. What is important to find the right place for you to play (if you are the best there train with the coach or find stronger...
  10. Jakub Dyjas BEHIND THE BACK !!!

By attitude I meant that I didn't see fighting spirit in him, but he isn't a poker-face either. It looked like if he just powerlooped every ball with a 'f*** that match!' shout. Time to time he tried to concentrate, but when he missed he was disappointed or angry. edit: But probably I am too...
  11. TTDaily Members Meet at or Near WTTC

It would be good if every TTD member when he visits a tournament would wear TTD shirt. This way we all could recognise each other. (Tough I am the one who probably won't attend any tournament till next year.
  12. Jakub Dyjas BEHIND THE BACK !!!

And I don't like the way Ruiz Romain plays. And I don't think his attitude will help him. I love doing big shots myself, but RR's game seems just stupid and incomplete. His style is pretty unique and to quote XX 'we all need diversity' (not sure if I was accurate), but still...he could've play...
  13. Miu hirano 's ideal boy friend

Yeah, let's rename the thread to 'official TT love-confession thread'! After the 'world's sexiest female TT player' thread's resurrection I felt something like this is needed. :D
  14. China Open 2017

We don't have to expect miracles from Niwa, but in his current form he is one of the strongest non-CNT players. I expect ZJK's rebirth, even if he can't win the tournament I want him to beat ML/FZD/XX and one or two of the eurojapkor big guys.
  15. Booster

Last week the same question has been answered. Myself didn't tried, but azv said this:
  16. Miu hirano 's ideal boy friend

    Ishikawa is cute with anyone
  17. Miu hirano 's ideal boy friend

Now mixed doubles is in the Olympics :) EDIT:Ok, I've got it, they aren't from the same country.
  18. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

As a training our coach plays sometimes with a similar paddle (cheapest artengo stuff). Still he can beat the club's best junior player (who has a solid technique and pretty good ranking in the country). Daily Report: I will give a try to the V>15 Extra on my backhand. I expect it to be in the...
  19. Why does table tennis seem to be very predictable at the HIGHEST level?

I didn't read the full article, but many of these lower-ranked-player-wins upsets are not real upsets. Obvious, when a CNT player with low ITTF ranking causes many 'ranking upsets', but we all know that they are top 20 level at least. Also, Harimoto did many 'upset', but in real only his win...
  20. Two of USA's Top Chinese Players go Head to Head

Oh man, serve fault at matchpoint 10-9, that must feel bad.
