  1. Hit a wall with my BH on OSP Virtuoso Off- – Rubber recommendations or time to change blades?

Definitely a blade issue. I've had the exact same experience. Against strong defensive opponents, I always have to whip out the Viscaria because my Inner Carbon just can't penetrate through their defense.
  2. What is the highest level I can achieve in my career?

I'm not sure how things are in New Zealand, but here in Vietnam, if you want to make money playing table tennis, you have to be among the absolute top players in the country (National Master level). From what I've seen, those guys usually make their living through coaching and selling equipment...
  3. 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, 9/19-10/4

FZD should just stick to playing chill tournaments in Germany. The moment he returns to the CNT, this fun international rivalry we're seeing is over. It'll just be too predictable again.
  4. DHS Inner Carbon Blades Comparison: Sun Yingsha, Wang Chuqin, Long 5 & B2X

Honestly, I didn’t seal any of my DHS blades. I prefer to experience the blade as it comes from the factory, without adding any protective coating. My B2X did chip a little when I removed the glue, but it was very minor. This is actually the first time I’ve ever seen the glue clump up like that...
  5. DHS Inner Carbon Blades Comparison: Sun Yingsha, Wang Chuqin, Long 5 & B2X

Honestly, the build quality on the 301 is absolutely terrible. As soon as I applied glue to the blade, it started clumping up almost immediately. Feels like that cheap outer ply just sucks all the moisture out of the glue. And when I tried peeling the glue off to redo it, the wood fibers came...
  6. DHS Inner Carbon Blades Comparison: Sun Yingsha, Wang Chuqin, Long 5 & B2X

Sure. The spin generation of the KingACB is much better than the B2X haha. I'd say it's about 20% higher. But the power output is significantly weaker compared to the B2X. Makes sense though, the B2X is stiff as a rock with its super thick core. The B2X doesn't produce any noticeable vibration...
  7. DHS Inner Carbon Blades Comparison: Sun Yingsha, Wang Chuqin, Long 5 & B2X

Ok, so I’ll summarize it for you when comparing the KingACB vs Q968 Inner Limba, based on my guess of your level from your question: Handle: Both are pretty similar — small and round. Comfortable for Asian hands, although they might feel a bit small for some Europeans. They’re not...
  8. Looking for Limba Outer Carbon

Go with the Jun Mizutani ZLC. It’s a very powerful blade with great built-in assistance, and it can generate a ton of spin. A lot of players in my country use this blade, and they play really well with it.
  9. FZD ALC vs Viscaria are the differences actually significant? My measurements surprised me

I have two FZD ALCs, one at 92g and the other at 88g, but honestly, I don’t feel much of a difference between them. They feel completely different from my three Viscarias, which have a super lively and unpredictable bounce.
  10. DHS Inner Carbon Blades Comparison: Sun Yingsha, Wang Chuqin, Long 5 & B2X

I actually own one and have played with it. Compared to my current Viscaria/Q968 (using Dig09C on both FH and BH for both setups) -> It has a somewhat woody and soft feel, and I just can't generate enough power to put the ball away/finish the point. On the flip side, it's very forgiving to play...
  11. DHS Inner Carbon Blades Comparison: Sun Yingsha, Wang Chuqin, Long 5 & B2X

I have a B2X and it's as hard as a chopping board. Lol
  12. DHS Hurricane King acB Review

This blade is way too soft and mushy—great for the short game, blocking, and touch play. However, it lacks that crisp, direct feedback needed for topspin attacks, especially on the forehand side. It just doesn't produce enough power to put the point away.
  13. Thread about Japanese Players

I think in just a few years, nobody from CNT will be able to stop Sora Matsushima
  14. Timo boll spirit - surprised how good it is :)

You have accurately described the advantages of the Timo Boll ALC line. It is very stable and easy to play
  15. Viscaria ALC vs Fan Zhendong ALC help me decide (Dignics 09C / 05 setup)

I have played a lot with both of these blades, and I can give you some insights as follows: Fan ALC: More stable (for example, when doing counter-hitting drills, the ball easily lands on a consistent spot), has a slightly lower arc, and features a larger handle (as an Asian with small hands, I...
  16. To be a BH looper, or to be a BH controller, that is the question.

I think you will also struggle against backhand-dominant players as well
  17. Anyone know video coach Ti Long?

Ti Long only won some junior tournaments and is basically unknown in Vietnam. I’m not going to discuss whether the techniques he teaches in the video are right or wrong. But top players either don’t know him, or simply don’t rate him highly. How can I say that, because I train with them every week.
  18. DHS Long 5 or DHS King Acb?

I’m currently playing with both of these blades, and the Long 5 is better for forehand. The King ACB produces a lower arc, and I have to put much more effort from my legs and waist into the shot. My loops with the King ACB look more like smashes haha.
  19. DHS Hurricane 3 Neo: The Complete Amateur Guide & Review

Great article Victor, my experience was exactly the same as yours. I also failed many times trying to make H3 work on the backhand side, and in the end I still went back to D09C. When the power comes from the legs, then the waist, and finally explodes through the arm, H3 makes that amazing...
