  1. Is over celebrating a problem in table tennis?

Agree, this looks to have been trained into him intentionally. It's too premeditated and constant. Of course everyone celebrates in difference ways. We all pull off a killer shot from time to time - hard not to be happy with that. An unexpected win against a better player might result in...
  2. Which poly ball should you choose?

Ball updates are coming thick and fast now. Donic P40+ - Seamed - White - Made in China Double Fish V40+ - Seamed - White - Made in China Tmount Prime 40+ - Seamed - White - Made in China I'd never heard of Tmount, but they appear to be a South Korean TT store.
  3. Which poly ball should you choose?

Another new entry, slightly more interesting: Nittaku NSD40+ - Seamed - White - Made in China Possibly the Nittaku-branded version of the new DHS D40+?
  4. Tibhar Evolution EL-S and FX-S

TeesSport don't have them. Pick a thickness and colour and they'll tell you it's out of stock until August. Very few sheets have ended up with connected people in Germany a few weeks back, but that's it. Not available on the general market yet.
  5. Tibhar Evolution EL-S and FX-S

    Available where?
  6. Which poly ball should you choose?

  7. Zhang jike 's new fashion photos

That is definitely a Stiga Infinity with ZJK-SZLC handles on. They can't fool me!
  8. New ITC blade

Congratulations! What's your address - I'll send you my wallet and pin number in the post.
  9. New ITC blade

The Powercell rubbers are made in Japan and have more in common with Stiga Airoc, Nittaku Flyatt Spin, Joola Samba 19/27 and TSP Regalis than any ESN rubber. I guess that ITC have decided to go in a different direction than Adidas for rubber production. The blades are probably made in china...
  10. Change the short term mindset

This feels like it could be a great thread. One to keep an eye on for sure. A lot of this has to come from the player themselves. Some players just can't sink the time into redeveloping their games - life gets in the way for all sorts of reasons. And some simply don't want to - they're happy...
  11. Adidas to discontinue table tennis products

IMO (and this won't be shared by everyone), TZU was a real innovation at the time. It was the first ESN tensor to have a suppressed bounce and was amazingly easy to use while retaining huge power. Evolution on the other hand was a variation on the Bluefire M and Rasant series (or they're all...
  12. Adidas to discontinue table tennis products

I also think that P7 and TZU were excellent, I really liked P5 as well. TZU was well ahead of its time in particular. I never got to try E-Razor. There are probably loads of reasons why the enterprise failed. I always got a confused response from other players when I talked about Adidas TT...
  13. Adidas to discontinue table tennis products

I'm confused by your post in this pretty dormant thread. A 3rd party company purchased a (expensive!) licence to market TT stuff using the adidas brand. The rubbers were ESN and very well received. They had a good outreach program to get test materials into the hands of forum members. They...
  14. Donic Bluefire Big Slam

And many thanks for this. I'm really trying to avoid these super-soft topsheet ESN variants at the moment (Rasant Beat, Acuda Blue P3, Vega Europe DF etc). I was hoping for a remixed M3, with it's mega-high throw. So you've saved me some cash!
  15. Donic Bluefire Big Slam

Not long until "replicated celluloid feel".
  16. Which poly ball should you choose?

Another new ball appeared on the list today: Yasaka - SLB40+ - Seamless - Made in China - White Looks like Yasaka have boarded the seamless train. Choo choo.
  17. Tibhar MX-S or XOV Asia

They both have a similar, 50 degree sponge, and their topsheets are super-grippy and have zero slip with plastic balls. The main difference is the topsheet softness, with OVA's topsheet being a lot softer. MX-S has a medium-low throw, and requires you to be in a good position to produce a...
  18. calibra tour -> the kukamonga truth

Airoc's topsheet is totally different and is much grippier. It's still a bit less grippy than most modern ESN rubbers, but it's pretty good. Calibra Tour was one of the worst rubbers I've ever tried for my needs because the topsheet is so unusual. It isn't like anti as such, but wow - it's...
  19. Which poly ball should you choose?

New ball on the list today: Kokutaku - Seamless - Made in China - White Nothing special, move along.
