Hello, i would like to know what make Harimoto's serve more deceptive from other top players? He make contact with the ball near head and he use same movement but all top players try to do that and still his serves are harder to read. Even Ma long, Xu xin and Zhang Jike had problems to read them.

Hello, I know that hiding serves is illegal but sometimes players do that even at higher levels. How umpire can see if serve is hidden or not from his angle? Many top players contact the ball very close to the body and very fast so it's hard to tell if it's against the ITTF rules.

In 3:53 Ma long serve side under serve but his racket angle is very similar to side topspin serve. I'm curious how it's even possible to create backspin with nearly vertical racket angle? Many chinese players do that but idk how.

I think as you said it will take up to 12 months to correct world ranking. I also don't know why for example Truls is in top 10. There are many better players such as Wang Chuqin who deserve top 10 more.
