  1. Advice on new racket

Your setup is already really fast and fast enough to put good players under pressure. Don't fall for the trap that you need a faster setup. What you need is training to generate power if you find the setup too slow.
  2. Light racket from Butterfly

I agree with the other people here that we shouldn’t take a look at the weight of the racket until it is not overwhelmingly overweight. I have played rackets with a weight span from 175 to 198 grams and it was okay. The lightest one was a Lin Yun-Yu with lightweight rubbers. The heaviest one was...
  3. Light racket from Butterfly

There are some Boll ALC with only 79 g. Mostly young athletes (under 18!) play them quite successfully. That could help. Also choosing 1.9 mm instead of 2.1.
  4. Brushing the ball is useless? (World champion FangBo‘s training class)

When I watch Fangbo's videos, I notice that while he does give the basic tip of prioritizing “impact” over “friction”, he regularly points out that both are important and that it's important to master the nuances between the two as your skill level increases.
  5. Using D05 for a week, it too fast and hard to control... how to use it ?

Indeed, I realise I should have provided more context to what I meant with that.
  6. Using D05 for a week, it too fast and hard to control... how to use it ?

Even if I am not addressed, I think there is a difference between amateurs, i.e. non-professionals, and beginners. I would attribute the status of amateurs to players who are not professionals. And I believe that a Viscaria can also be played with a Dignics 05 from a certain point onwards as an...
  7. Using D05 for a week, it too fast and hard to control... how to use it ?

The "slow" referred to the relatively light weight of the blade. We all know that a Viscaria can be fast. And we all know, that a heavier Viscaria is faster than a light one. And sure we know that they are many more faster blades. And depending of the weight of the blade, even an innerforce...
  8. Using D05 for a week, it too fast and hard to control... how to use it ?

For me, my taste and my previous blades I tried, Viscaria ist not very fast but more "medium" or kind of a reference to start with. Personally I would not try a Dignics 05 with a slower blade than a "slow" 84 g Viscaria since it would mean casting pearls before swine. In my opinion Dignics 05...
  9. Using D05 for a week, it too fast and hard to control... how to use it ?

When I first tried D05 I was thinking: Why the hell does someone play with that thing? I gave the racket back to my colleague. Someday another colleague told me: I tries the D05, it is interesting. Get used to it and it is the best rubber you can play. So I tried. After a few sessions I...
  10. www.prott.vip - any experience?

I waited between 1 and 4 days if I remember correctly. Since I knew I would have to wait a few weeks I was very patient and it turned out to be the best way. Sometimes they are on vacation. Being a patient customer was a good option.
  11. Stiga Hybrid carbon

I think it's true that MK Carbon is not the most powerful when playing far away from the table. I guess we always have to compromise. If a wood feels just right close to the table, it may be less suitable further away from the table because it doesn't have enough power. If a faster blade with a...
  12. www.prott.vip - any experience?

I have already placed three orders independently of each other. Shipping to Germany took three to five weeks. The blades I ordered were perfectly and securely packed. For the third order, I contacted them beforehand via WhatsApp and asked whether a weight selection was possible for my blade...
  13. The blade off Wang Manyu ??

Yes. I have my first one since January and got my second two weeks ago. I am very pleased with the blade. It’s really the best blade I played so far. Much better than a Viscaria. More feeling, a bit more power and it grips the ball even better.
  14. The blade off Wang Manyu ??

    Dignics 05 forehand Dignics 80 / Rasanter R48 backhand
  15. The blade off Wang Manyu ??

I tried to get it in Germany and I failed. Then I ordered it at Pro TT, which was a good idea.
  16. The blade off Wang Manyu ??

Yes. You are totally right. I have been trying to get the Inspira Plus for six months. And while waiting to get one, I bought the Inspira Hybrid Carbon and was fine with that. Nevertheless, I prefer the Inspira Plus for more control and spin to speed ratio.
  17. The blade off Wang Manyu ??

In my opinion the Inspira Hybrid Carbon does not need further sealing. The Inspira Plus could use some, though.
  18. The blade off Wang Manyu ??

I cannot tell. I have tried many many blades. Most of Butterfly’s carbon blades and many blades from other brands were not even close to the Hybrid Carbon. For me it is quite unique.
  19. The blade off Wang Manyu ??

I have both, and I can tell you, they are different. The Inspira Hybrid Carbon is way faster and less forgiving than the Inspira Plus. The Inspira Plus is much easier to play.
  20. Rubber with Soft Grippy topsheet

I must admit that if you like hard rubbers and know how to play 50°, then I don’t understand why you want to play a 45° rubber instead of looking for something with a very grippy top sheet with at least 50°. This is like going backwards on the supposedly stronger forehand side. Since I play the...
