  1. New Stiga Mantra Pro

I would agree that mantra pro m is suitable for beginners on a slower blade also it teaches how to engage the sponge, mantra pro seriously doesnt grip the ball if you only use the topsheet
  2. Advice to slow down timo boll alc in short game

zylon without carbon if I remember correctly, same structure and handle as tb alc. timo boll zlf feels softer, slightly slower and more controlled than tb alc, but still shares similar characteristics. its similar to hugo calderano hal, a viscaria blade with artificial fiber but without carbon...
  3. Advice to slow down timo boll alc in short game

I get that you dont want to change your blade, but timo boll zlf might be the answer

  5. Tibhar Infinity MX-P and MX-S will be released on May 11!

mainly for the fun of it on backup blades, but my main setup rarely changes. think my main setup changed once over the last 2 years i dont really try out stuff to improve my setup, just enjoy the equipment part in TT from time to time (and writing about it in my blog :) )
  6. Tibhar Infinity MX-P and MX-S will be released on May 11!

I really like MX-S, curious about the infinity version
  7. XIOM new blades, any review on Tetra, Artemis, Chrome or Indeed?

yes definitely. I tried with both h3 and jekyll and hyde
  8. XIOM new blades, any review on Tetra, Artemis, Chrome or Indeed?

I agree with this, it is VERY obvious when you activate the carbon in tmxi pro. much less so with the chrome in terms feedback transmitted to the hand the high gear of chrome is still very high Id say, compared to most other blades. higher than hsalc for sure
  9. XIOM new blades, any review on Tetra, Artemis, Chrome or Indeed?

hsalc is just a totally different blade. I see it as a easy to play viscaria. kiri core so you dont get the same power as w968 structure. hsalc is high arc, normal spin but oustanding stability. and easy to hit through the blade ajh tmxi pro has a dead backhand until you make the blade swing...
  10. XIOM new blades, any review on Tetra, Artemis, Chrome or Indeed?

I never tried the newer golden slam version. a friend has the old w968 version and I was only able to compare ajh tmxi pro with old w968.
  11. XIOM new blades, any review on Tetra, Artemis, Chrome or Indeed?

Chrome has higher throw than tmxi pro, more speed. I wouldnt say the feedback of chrome is muted, can say its ''clear" but much less crisp chrome very stable, needs proper impact to activate, long arc, spin is very very good. comfortable feeling for me to loop secound bounce and arc less...
  12. Xiom Vega China VM Review

I played with vega china maybe 3 months. love the rubber, my favourite hybrid and really feels like h3 os 40 degree boosted reason I changed back is just comfort. used h3 now for over 2 years, I can engage the sponge or just brush with the topsheet. vega china is okay with brushing but you...
  13. Finally tested Spinsight - What helped you to increase spin in your game?

very interesting. in fact, my playstyle is known to be very safe. I usually go for attacking strokes but rely on safety, high arc, stability. I usually dont do very fast shots. When I used Spinsight, I did my usual shots, more slow and spinny. maybe I should try to go for some power shots next...
  14. Finally tested Spinsight - What helped you to increase spin in your game?

One of my clubmates brought a Spinsight setup to our facility yesterday. I had the brief opportunity to try it out, and had very similar results to when I tested it at WTT Frankfurt: about 125 rps on forehand, about 110 rps on backhand I am hovering around 1600ttr, I think my spin values are...
  15. New FH Rubber (Glayzer, Fastarc G1, Omega VII Pro)

I agree with most of your points, well said. But imo g1 is not jumpy and bouncy, maybe its spin sensitive, but not bouncy. g1 is very linear imo and stronger in serve receive and blocking than glayzer (doesnt mean glayzer is bad in that department) g05 is easier to play and they are very...
  16. New Gewo Blades: Anjaehyun Carbon Basic and Prithika Pavade Carbon Basic

Interesting new blades released by Gewo, both available for 50€ Anjaehyun Version: Koto outer alc on one side, Limba inner on the other side https://www.contra.de/gewo-holz-an-jaehyun-carbon-basic/ Pravade Version: Blue Aramid Carbon on one side, Black Aramid Carbon on the other side...
  17. Nittaku fastarc g-1 max thickness?

I wouldn't do it, could mess with the durability of the rubber. If you want a boosted fastarc g1, try stiga mantra pro
  18. Alternative rubber a bit faster than Rakza 7

Omega 7 Pro is what you are looking for
