  1. Anybody tried boosting original Bryce?

I tried a boosted Bryce Highspeed this year just to test out whether an ultra light inverted rubber (the only thing it is good at) can be matched on a heavy blade to balance out the weight ... and it was indeed a lost cause. Both spin and speed were so low when comparing to even just newer...
  2. Dignics 80 Review | 5 Things You Need To Know

With its stiffer sponge than Tenergy the Dignics likely favors soft blades. My D05 pairs really well on my soft-ish Sanwei hinoki-carbon blade and power could easily be generated even for backhand, but on other stiffer setups I found D05 too stiff for my liking even on forehand.

the Kokutaku 007 Pro Mid hard version did not give me good impression. Even after boosting the sponge does not offer as much power as Battle 2 provincial or Sanwei Target (most variants) although 007 Pro certainly weighs quite a bit lighter. The particular sheet i received just doesn't seem to...

Omega VII series is way better than Vega. Euro is the only light one among Omegas but I can't really recommend it due to how much better I managed with Omega VII Pro is which is just 2.5deg sponge harder. Pro is already much heavier but I would still pick a Pro 2mm over Euro everyday.
  5. Adivice on Zhangjike ALC forehand choice

not sure if the K1 pro I borrowed was too old but it had definitely less power(spin and speed) my own K2 which was 2 months old at the time of comparison and the extra tack of K1 didn't exactly help spinning for me either. Also K2 even with its 54deg sponge is much easier to use than most other...

How many layers would you suggest? Official says one layer but you said u did 2 in the other forum. Did you think it was alright/too much/too little?
  7. Very Light Inverted Rubbers on Market (may update over time)

Managed to snatch the very last 007 pro from amazon b4 it went back to "out of stock" once again. Only just received my package while ago:rolleyes:
  8. Adivice on Zhangjike ALC forehand choice

If you can find Tibhar K2 it's simply a better rubber than K1 plus. Roundell isn't close to the other 2 you mentioned. Spin Art is prob what you want from Butterfly as a semi-tacky rubber though it's twice as expensive. Victas also just released a VJC>07 rubber that is also a bit tacky. V402...
  9. Very Light Inverted Rubbers on Market (may update over time)

Mine cost around 40USD so i would assume it to be the latter. And yes Haifu Whale 2/3 is much heavier.
  10. Very Light Inverted Rubbers on Market (may update over time)

New update: Haifu Shark 3 My friend introduced this to me after I posted thread and this one is a shocker. Together with TSP Agrit I managed to cut the combined weight down to 168g for one of my 86g blade. Medium hardness version was chosen with sponge at 39deg DHS scale.
  11. Very Light Inverted Rubbers on Market (may update over time)

Weighing rubbers together with package is what i usually do when buying rubbers myself, although i try my best to borrow setups used by other players rather than spending my own money. As for thickness I do choose thinner sponges from time to time, although usually I just go straight for...

Yes yogi the 007 Pro apparently is hard to be found anywhere on the 'net :( Even amazon is saying out of stock at the moment.
  13. Very Light Inverted Rubbers on Market (may update over time)

Palio's CJ8000 and Ak47. Kokutaku brand which yogi_bear suggested is also kind of good. You are looking at less than 20USD per piece (excluding shipping) for these 3 models. Personally I would recommend CJ8000 Provincial version with blue-coloured sponge if you can find one as it offered very...

knowing many regular Aurus players we found that its weight seems to have reduced by ~3g months after its release. I've just included V42 but Mantras average weight (for the pieces I weighed) were over 43g cut in general.
  15. Very Light Inverted Rubbers on Market (may update over time)

Due to health issues I have been EJing for light rubbers over last 10 years, and I strongly believe I am not the only one here so I decided the make a brief list of what I found. Please note that price isn't a concern here, plus there might also be more light rubbers that I tested b4 but not...
  16. Joola Rhyzer 48 and 42 degrees

Gotten myself a new piece Rhyzer 50 Pro as the 48 is too worn out at this point. The 50 is just so much better. I finally have the option to execute spinny brush loops sometimes thanks to stiffer sponge and larger pimples, instead of keep having to hit through sponge/topsheet just to obtain any...

  18. Xiom Omega 7 Hyper and Vega X

O7 Euro sponge is simply too soft. To me only O7 pro or beyond the sponge is sufficient hard to being out the spin potential and power of the rubber topsheet. Euro felt noticeably weaker to me than even the Pro which has the 2nd softest sponge right after Euro's.
  19. Joola Rhyzer 48 and 42 degrees

I seriously don't like this generation of "RhyXXX" rubbers from Joola ehich demands sponge engagement. Maybe I'm too used to easy spin offered by tenergy and tacky Chinese rubbers, but the Rhyzer really falls short of those when it comes to short games and slow opening loops. Under my techniques...
  20. Xiom Omega 7 Hyper and Vega X

yogi are u sure 50g cut for Hyper wasn't mistake? Other Rubbers that were close to 80g uncut tend to be closer to 55g cut from my experience.
