  1. What Are Hybrid Table Tennis Rubbers and Why Are They So Popular Nowadays?

Sanwei Gear Hyper which cover I see on the image is completely not tacky at all, at least for me it was like one of the most tack-less rubbers. It has some kind of tension effect though - at least mid-hard one I tested. Good BH rubber. Once I tried buying it on other store than official sanwei...
  2. TTBL (Bundlesliga) 2026 - 2027

Really loving his backhand and generally his way of playing, he seems to be doing every stroke really pleasing for my eyes (no idea if they are really perfect technique by the book - never been even in proximity of tt coach). I hope he can keep this form
  3. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

This is interesting, so out of curiosity, can you tell me if possible weight reduction is significant with usual size reduction you do? like how much you shave off (like 1mm maybe?) and how much blade weight changed. I guess some guys may prefer different size due to different reasons like...
  4. Anyone has experience with Telson germany rubbers?

I tried Telson Germany 45 and it was for me quite good BH rubber. Not really tacky, but while touching the rubber with the finger it was not completely non-tacky. Strange feeling. The spin on the serve was decent, almost like with tacky rubbers (I use BH serve quite often) and speed was quite...
  5. Chinese table tennis enthusiasts are very happy to be here~

The 729 battle III topsheet for me always start looking really ugly in short time no matter how much I care for it (what annoys me a lot), but yeah it plays well. The one I sold some Junior player like half year ago plays still decently despite looking dead-beaten as she plays at least 4 times...
  6. tt gear lab site

It is clear the values provided are not enough to describe every aspect of blade behaviour. Still very useful and I have to admit few times I bought a second-hand blade based on the parameter values and I was quite happy with the result. For sure this website is a great effort to have some...
  7. Chinese table tennis enthusiasts are very happy to be here~

A fellow Equipment Junkie - hard to find a better forum for that than this one!
  8. Cheap Chinese Gear

Thanks for very informative contribution about the view from the inside and internal politics

I am also a fan of this Donic handles. My colleague from club has this Donic Original Carbo Speed and he really loves it, I tried it and it was strange for me, fast, hard, also quite light on the weight I think. His topspins on both wings are great with it (rather thanks to his skills though :)...
  10. Flared(FL) or Straight(ST)?

Thanks, I saw once second-hand blade like that, but thought it is actually ST and maybe only looked strange because of camera angle. Now I think it may be just conical continuously getting wider.
  11. Flared(FL) or Straight(ST)?

By this CO I guess you mean AN (anatomical) handle? it is normally more bulky than FL in the upper part, I have Andro Treiber with that handle and it is great. In the past for most EU manufacturers like Andro, Donic it was possible to get AN version and sadly never for Asian ones (except maybe...
  12. Rubbers for children at school

For cheap, usable and not really difficult to use rubbers I would go with either: Sanwei T-88 III Reactor Tornado V5 They are not really sticky - they appear to have some more tack than ESN, but plays not that different.
  13. Most consistent BH rubber for opening up the game

Do you see any difference between Loki Telson 100 and Loki Telson Germany? Not sure if there is any real or jsut a marketing trick. On the cover there are minimal differences in parameters Loki provides, but I am a bit skeptical. I played only with Germany (one of best BH rubbers for me) while...
  14. New Blade: Tibhar Darko Infinity Carbon

This looks really reasonable for me structure-wise. No idea however about Gewo handles, never had in hand any of their blades. Can anyone compare their FL or ST shape with some more popular brands (Donic, Andro, Bty)?
  15. Post your latest EJ purchase

Hopefully it helps you improve your serves. For me it was a game-changer and really helped me to see the amount of spin I create. I got same-sized one (8 rubber fields) from aliexpress for similar price you paid.
  16. sanwei rubber cutter without press

The cutter blade is 19mm, so with rubber of max 4mm (as we all follow rules  ) the press must be able to fit 23mm of maximal width. I think it just depends on the bolt length.
  17. sanwei rubber cutter without press

Well thanks for the idea, because I felt like an idiot after reading that 😅 ("why I haven't thought about it?!". I own this basic aliexpress cutter and until now I used the rolling pin which worked, but was not perfect. As it has to be done rubber-up it caused rubber to detach on the edges...
  18. Blades with two sides?

As a reference link to thread about two asymetrical blades from Gewo: link I bought recently the Yinhe Pro 11S and while it plays great, the ST handle is awfully round (for me). Normally thick FL handles of Yinhe are best for me, byt this model has thin FL so I took risk woth ST and it is not...
  19. Is there a Donic Anders Lind blade review?

Same here, in general ST handles of Donic blades from recent years are perfect shape in my opinion (previously had Donic original True Carbon Inner)
  20. Which Sanwei 3-star balls are the best

I see sometimes mentioned that cheap Sanwei 3-star balls are reasonably good for training purposes. However, I see often on aliexpress three types with similar price - gold, blue and red markers. Are there any difference between them or rather just same piece of plastic with different labels...
