  1. SANWEI Su style Latest update, Eagle Beak

This is the latest version of Eagle Beak. The hook is now a bit rounded, and the index finger rest is now flushed. This is the best handle I’ve ever used, better than the original version. It also feels more balanced. The original was handle-heavy. The blade weighs around 90g, with DMS...
  2. TTR-HUNTER EXTREM 2.9mm sponge

Sounds too thick to me. I tried their Spinfire Extrem and Extrem Extra Soft before, which come with 2.4mm sponge thickness. They are just too mushy, like I can’t really feel the blade. I’m using TTR Hunter Soft 1.9mm for my BH at the moment, and I love it. 2.9mm really sounds like a lot, like...
  3. Jpen with sp

Yeah I do think jpen is still the best if you play one-sided penholder. Yoo Nam Kyu videos helped me a lot too.

  5. SANWEI Su style Latest update, Eagle Beak

I bought it from Sanwei official website. I asked the agent, he said it weighs 92g, but the one I received is 101g. I know you can request for certain weight, but since the agent said it's 92g, I was ok with that. I didn't think it could be almost 10g heavier.
  6. SANWEI Su style Latest update, Eagle Beak

How come my YS6 is a whooping 101g?
  7. SANWEI Su style Latest update, Eagle Beak

It does look like fire, fitting the rubber; Spinfire.
  8. SANWEI Su style Latest update, Eagle Beak

Yes I prefer light setup too. My main setup before this was only 123g. So this is quite a big jump actually. But somehow, this feels manageable.

  10. SANWEI Su style Latest update, Eagle Beak

I need to play with it a bit more to give a full review, but I can talk about the handle. Yes, TPB is easy and comfortable to do. If you tried the previous SU version, TPB was awkward, at least for me. For Eagle Beak, if feels like it's designed with TPB in mind. The triangular-shaped hook...
  11. SANWEI Su style Latest update, Eagle Beak

Mine has arrived, and I played a few sessions with it. I love the handle. Marked improvement from the previous version. Mine is super heavy though at 101g. I got the YS6. I love ZLC feeling, that's why I got the YS6. I need more testing, and will get back to you later. If you have any...

Looks like it's better for TPB? With the last version, TPB felt a bit awkward.

  20. Is short pips answer to receiving serves?

I agree. Playing with pimples out rubbers is not as easy as it seems. With LP for example, you still need to read the spin, because it's different strokes for underspin vs topspin. You don't do it right, you'll return poor ball which can easily be attacked by experienced players. As for SP...
