I'm going to throw the Hammond Z2 Special Version in here. I've been using it for 3 months now and I like it more every day.

I've been using V2C for 6 months now on FH and I think it's a great rubber. I know I'm not using it to it's full potential because I'm a low intermediate player but I really like it. I feel like I can do anything with it and when I make a mistake I know it's my technique and not the rubber. But...

Sounds very good tbh, but I'm pretty sure Z2 would be too much for me even in FH. I'm still tempted to try the Special Version in my backhand though. I went with Omega 8 Euro months ago, and I like it, it's really controllable but C1 was more versatile and now I'm thinking of coming back to it...

Maybe the special version being softer makes it bouncier and you had less time to make your own spin?

Seems like so, but some time ago I used Rakza Z and even after several months of use, I could lift the ball from the table with it.

I was going to buy Omega 8 China as it has really good reviews, but recent posts talk a lot about the poor durability, so I'm not really interested anymore. Maybe the new J line from Donic is better in this regard.
