  1. Hit a wall with my BH on OSP Virtuoso Off- – Rubber recommendations or time to change blades?

I kind of had the same issue as you before I switched to a TB ALC. Before that, I played with a Nittaku Acoustic, and my main problem was that I had to use too much force on powerful backspin backhand open-ups and counters from far away from the table. That caused my arm to tense up and ruined...
  2. Harimoto vs Ovtcharov blade

For me coming from a more linear blade at first the Harimoto SALC can feel challenging to find the right amount of power from distance especially on forehand. Also its the best blade for bh that I have ever tried imo
  3. What is talent in table tennis?

Its more genetics related but yeah, you have to be born with it also
  4. What is talent in table tennis?

My opinion is that talent can be seen by how fast they improve, also most people have a skill ceiling after a few years of playing if they arent training a lot. Or if there is no clear ceiling I think that there is a certain point technically that after you improve really slowly or stop...
  5. FH Rubber with high Arc ?

Maybe Joola Trinity Dynamic? Great review about the rubber
  6. Viscaria ALC vs Fan Zhendong ALC help me decide (Dignics 09C / 05 setup)

So I guess this goes for TB ALC too and every vis like butterfly blade?
  7. Which ESN (or Jap) rubber is closest to H3 orange provincial (non NEO)?

I have only tried H3 for a few hits on a clubmates bat so I cant really compare Omega VIII China to that. The rubber itself is not springy on low impact shot, touch play is good. But if you put power into the loops you get some good power and crazy consistency out of the rubber in my opinion. I...
  8. DHS Inner Carbon Blades Comparison: Sun Yingsha, Wang Chuqin, Long 5 & B2X

Could you please explain how the Freitas ALC compares with a VIS-type blade? I’v benn thinking about switching to get a bit softer feel

When it comes to spin, the most important things to focus on are acceleration, correct contact timing, and racket angle. You don’t need to use much force if you accelerate at the right moment.
  10. I'm looking for a new blade

If you have played with the blade, please let me know about it
  11. I'm looking for a new blade

Just like one person already said above, you should probably go for viscaria/boll alc (or something viscaria like). In topspin- topspin rallys outer carbon blades are much more stable
  12. Post your latest EJ purchase

Thank you for your reply! My question is does it have a noticeably longer dwell time? Because I’v only been playing with my TB alc for a month now, but I might not fully benefit from the stiffnes even if I fully get used to it, because most of the time I play against less-skilled opponents...
  13. Post your latest EJ purchase

If you do so please let me know how you like it, maybe even compare it to outer alc blades if you can.
  14. use outer carbon.... DO IT NOW !!!

every blade plays differently with aging, you probably won't notice it
  15. New setup (moving into carbon)

I actually never tried any nittaku or dhs rubber, but I will try my first hybrid (which probably is not even tacky) xiom omega 8 china, and to5 (I'v never used butterfly rubbers either, I actually got this one as a gift). I’m also stepping away from my beloved Nittaku Acoustic because it doesn’t...
  16. New setup (moving into carbon)

not for this topic but i wanted to ask you, what do you like about the hurricane 8-80 on the acoustic? Do you boost it? Asking out of curiosity. I just got a brand blade after 4 years
