  1. Positioning on 3rd ball/reaction - how to?

thanks for the tips, I will try to “calculate” these aspects before serving. I believe my issue is somehow more mental than practical. I can’t help but focus only on where my ball lands, with the result that I find myself wrongly positioned. would you suggest an exercise for it?
  2. Positioning on 3rd ball/reaction - how to?

These are (among others, but these are top 3) issues. do you have an exercise to suggest to help me focus on the opponent’s blade? Or anyway not on the ball once I hit it…like chin-up ! I find myself planted like you perfectly explained, and therefore late or uncoordinated. I’m pretty sure...
  3. Victas Koji Matsushita Anniversary

Hi everyone does this blade has some kind of value? I bought it because it’s numbered (0116/1000) and because I liked the colour. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the original box, so probably it’s not appealing to a collector. Thanks in advance Koji Matsushita Anniversary
  4. Positioning on 3rd ball/reaction - how to?

I would like to thank you all for the pointers. Took me “a while” to answer because I tried to pick something from each suggestions you wrote. What I found out is for sure that I don’t trust my shots and spend way much time looking at how I contact the ball and where it lands. That’s skill...
  5. Positioning on 3rd ball/reaction - how to?

Good morning everyone I’m a very beginner and since a couple of months I’m training with a coach. My biggest issue is positioning on 3rd balls but also in general. Every time that I return the ball and have to position myself for the next one, I feel completely lost. I admit that I still...

  8. Rubber combo - Goriki Super Cut

@tzifos Tbh I’m “open” to change but was unsure about how better/worse is to chop and defence with sp. Are do knuckle lp as good as the short in terms @piligrim With what blade were you using them? @belllfador The dimensions are my only concern.. The weight and is manageable all in all.
  9. Rubber combo - Goriki Super Cut

Are the normal do knuckle any good?
  10. Rubber combo - Goriki Super Cut

Hi all (If it’s OT please delete). I would like to buy a Super Cut but I literally have no idea what should I buy for rubbers. I am quite a beginner and play as a chopper (both fh and bh), defender and blocker (passive and active). I prioritise control over speed and prefer Chinese style -...
  11. Koji Matsuschita ZC - rubber combo

I will have a look at them for bh. How about fh? How about fh hand?

Hi is still available? Can’t write you a pm for some reason.
  13. Koji Matsuschita ZC - rubber combo

I truly appreciate your comment, as it’s encourage me to not give up 🙂 I have problems being consistent and even though I know that I want to be a defensive player, I started to think that perhaps I am simply stubborn but not realistic.
  14. Koji Matsuschita ZC - rubber combo

Thanks for your reply. I think you’re right, I am a bit impulsive… What would you suggest for rubbers? I discovered Chinese ones (fh) and I pretty much them. Also with pips, tried Piranja cd (0.3) on a persson powerplay, P1 (1mm) on the VKM and P5ox on the defplay.
  15. Koji Matsuschita ZC - rubber combo

Hi all I’m thinking to get my very first carbon blade as until now I played only with a Defplay Senso V3 and a Koji Matuschita original. I mentioned the VKM Tc as I liked the comfort of the VKM. I’m a beginner and favour sticky rubbers with a lot of spin. Control is for me more important...
