  1. Handle Material

Thank you very much! :D Today I learned... That sounds super painful, tiresome and time-consuming... So if for exaple one asks for a handle with "smooth rainbow gradient", then you would need to buy a lot of them and glue them in order one by one... Maybe I'll ask for some simpler handle...
  2. Handle Material

Great article, as always! :D I have a question regarding the fineline, out of curiosity. In photos of those handles, there are many "lines" visible, for example Here white parts have 4 lines. And here the pink part has plenty of them. Are those the thin wood veneers that you need to dye...

Correct - better grip :) I feel like I have much more confidence in holding the racket when I have something at the end of the handle - I feel that with those the racket will not slip and not leave my hand A little lower weight balance is an additional bonus, but not main objective of that

  7. Yinhe E.moon

I have similar experience with Yinhe Apollo 2.5/2.7. This was after very thin layer of Seamoon 2 on one layer of glue. I guess two thicker layers could easilly make a circle :P

Second aligator looks okay and there is no flex, but it was not used much I'd say it's the opposite - which one should I play today...😅 That blade is Palio S4 (started as penhold, then was converted to shakehand and I gave it some random sticker :P)
  9. Share your Racket's Photo

I know... One day I definitely will :P I will check on thursday on my friends one, as mine was not played a lot... But based on the fact, that * build quality is terrible (mine is almost warped, second one is kinda warped) * they look and feel very fragile and easy to disintegrate (chunks of...

Damn, that's thick... I assume, when boosted, it could easilly go over the 4mm limit
  11. Zhang Jike says inner carbon blades degrade faster than outer carbon blades. Why is that?

I would also guess, that all that powerfull shots cause the blades to constantly deform and flex. Maybe this causes some micro tears and damage inside wood veneers. And as outer carbon theoretically should be less flexible than inner (not sure if that is true, but that feels true), this could...

  19. The Dark Side of Table Tennis | AntiSpin

I guess this was already discussed somewhere, but I have a suspicion that playing with blue - black combo, which you sometimes do, could be a good idea for "dark side" play. Because the difference between black and blue seems for me a bit less pronounced/obvious than the difference between red...
