    Coach still has it!!! Amazing.
  2. DHS Skyline rubbers are dead?

I tried using inverted for sometime and the one I did try was Skyline 2. It was interesting...didn't have a lot of pop to it, but was very spinny. Went back to short pips but I do still have the rubber stored away if I want to try inverted again. I was able to get a lot of spin even though my...
  3. What table tennis rubbers & blade do you use?

Old PF4 032 usually 2.2mm DHS 651 but as of lately I'm training with Yinhe Pluto 1.5mm and i am messing around with DHS c7 1.0mm
  4. Milky Way Pluto

4 out of 5 rating for Milky Way Pluto I went from 651 2.2mm to trying a thinner short pips to work on my technique and consistency. I am using an old DHS PF4-032 Cpen from the 1970's. I like this short pips. It took me some hits to get used to the low trajectory of this pips. You really...

  8. Getting back in the game...

Had some fun this weekend hot rodding an old PF4 bat with upgraded short pips DHS 2.0mm dragonow black and 874 2.2mm red. Both easy to control rubber with more spin potential. Not as fast and overall about 10g lighter than my 032 set up but easier to hit with more spin. Sent from my...
  9. Greetings!

Welcome boltnut!!! Right now is a perfect time to hit. Go find a table! In my neck of the woods tables are being sold very quickly and cheap prices. I was able to get a tournament table for $300USD that is/was brand new. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Substitute for old 651

I love the feel of my old 32 bat with 651 on both sides. Although I play cpen (my playing bat is on the right) you can see the differences of old 651 on the left to the new version on the right. Does anyone here know a substitute rubber that plays like old 651? The new one is pretty good but...

  12. Old rubber removal from ping pong blade

  13. Need help with penhold grip

Have you seen this video of Zhuang Zedong? It has helped me out greatly fixing my grip and improving my backhand. He really hits through the ball on both sides.
  14. DHS Dragonow (good or bad) ?

I have Dragonow 2.0mm on one of my bats and I like it. Little bit easier to spin than 651 at 2.2 and just a hair less powerful. I am not too fluent with sponges etc but it does feel a bit more nimble than my 2.2mm 651. I can see myself going back and forth with the two. Sent from my iPhone...

  16. Getting back in the game...

Hi OSPC! My first real bat was a 5 or 7 ply DHS or Shield Cpen with black short pips and the other side was plain wood with a tape measure built onto it that can measure the height of the net. I am still looking for it. I then got an awesome 7 ply PF4 shake hand that I still played penhold...

  18. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

Thanks a lot!! I hope I can find some good cpen players in NYC to learn and bond with! After Covid of course...
  19. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

I didn't know that! I would have no idea on what to choose now a days. I did see that DHS has a 032 cpen in their line up...maybe that's their modern replacement? Who knows...I think I have enough in my collection to mess around. I'm just curious to try new rubbers and different short...
