I love the feel of my old 32 bat with 651 on both sides. Although I play cpen (my playing bat is on the right) you can see the differences of old 651 on the left to the new version on the right. Does anyone here know a substitute rubber that plays like old 651? The new one is pretty good but...

Have you seen this video of Zhuang Zedong? It has helped me out greatly fixing my grip and improving my backhand. He really hits through the ball on both sides.

I have Dragonow 2.0mm on one of my bats and I like it. Little bit easier to spin than 651 at 2.2 and just a hair less powerful. I am not too fluent with sponges etc but it does feel a bit more nimble than my 2.2mm 651. I can see myself going back and forth with the two. Sent from my iPhone...

Hi OSPC! My first real bat was a 5 or 7 ply DHS or Shield Cpen with black short pips and the other side was plain wood with a tape measure built onto it that can measure the height of the net. I am still looking for it. I then got an awesome 7 ply PF4 shake hand that I still played penhold...
