    It appears that many clubs are buying up a good supply of the old type balls before they go out of production.. However, is it definate that the old type can still be used as no one seems to know. I was thinking of stockpilling the old type but if they are banned it would be a waste if money.

    Apologies for the picture quality and must get a new recorder. May be a few more but had trouble loading them and some have come out corrupted.     Just got a new laptop so this may have already been posted in the last few days although I could not see it but the ETTA membership is now £8 for seniors and £4 for juniors and cadets and has to be paid between 1st August to the 31st October.

    Its about time the ETTA updated their membership section as they are still referring to 2007 dates and showing the fees as £4.28 when last year it was £6 unless it is shown somewhere else with correct figures. Heard that it MIGHT go up to £9/10 for the new season.
  7. Rememberance

    For those who may not know, Ray Lam passed away on the 5th June after illness. He played mainly in the Ilford league but also in the Romford and West Essex and others. Ray had represented Essex and also Hong Kong. At 60 he still had alot to give to the game and will be surely missed.

    Grant Solder informed me today that Canary Wharf is again holding 'Ping' from the 13th July to the 22nd July.
