  1. Joola Hugo KL-C inner rubbers

I have Helix Platinum H and Mantra Pro H on mine right now, harder rubbers and softer rubbers did not feel as good to me
  2. Help me choose a BH rubber!!

I would lump K2 in with XVC/RZEH, there are differences but to me they all belong to the same lineage. I could make an educated guess on C55 because I have tried C52.5 but I havent actually used a sheet of C55 all to myself
  3. Help me choose a BH rubber!!

D09C but softer- Trinity Dynamic, JHC52.5 D09C but more Chinese- RZEH, Vega China, Codexx 54 D09C but more Euro- Bluegrip J1, Nuzn55 D09C but even more Euro- DragonPower52.5, V15Sticky, Bluestar A1 Not narrowed down too much. Maybe a low stickiness hybrid that is harder than O7P like DNA Hybrid...
  4. Post your latest EJ purchase

If you want a more elastic Clipper I'd recommend the Stiga Pure if you have some spare cash. I love this blade and you can get it Cybershaped too. Cybershape Clipper is also an upgrade to the normal Clipper as well IMO
  5. Andro Legacy Wosik - Initial Thoughts

Handsome blade. Not too often you see companies releasing blades for players that have long since retired from world competition, I think last I remember was Victas releasing blades for Jiang Jialiang and Norio Takashima
  6. Fastarc G1 vs Mantra Pro H on backhand

I bought a sheet of Pro Galaxia recently because PaddlePalace started stocking it and they have an introduction sale, I don't think its that similar to Pro H, but it does have a distinctly Japanese feeling. I'd say it feels closer to what a Glayzer Hard version would be, if anything- firmer...
  7. what happens when you get to THE POINT

Lol these are the only two big ones I'm all that aware of. The former is from the movie Interstellar and the latter from an automotive YouTube content creator haha
  8. Fastarc G1 vs Mantra Pro H on backhand

Seeing as you also like these rubbers, I'm wondering if you've ever tried the Juic Neo Galaxia or Pro Galaxia?
  9. what happens when you get to THE POINT

"Has any one supposed it lucky to be born? I hasten to inform him or her it is just as lucky to die, and I know it. I pass death with the dying and birth with the new-wash'd babe, and am not contain'd between my hat and boots, And peruse manifold objects, no two alike and every one good, The...
  10. what happens when you get to THE POINT

"Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night. Good men, the last wave by...
  11. Fastarc G1 vs Mantra Pro H on backhand

G1 is softer and has more grip from the topsheet. Pro H is less sensitive to spin, and I also feel it is less grippy. Since Pro H is harder I think it is more powerful than G1 but also less bouncy, you need to hit harder with it to get the speed. If you like punching I'd recommend the M version...
  12. Donic D1 rubber by ZJK

    "Seleted" lol
  13. Should I buy butterfly gergely T5000 for $90?

Its an oldschool style blade, the headsize is like 160x150mm. If its in decent condition then it might be worth it as a collectors piece. But if you want to play with a thick Hinoki carbon blade then you can get a Primorac Carbon, it will be more balanced
  14. What tt rubbers and blades do you think are the most overpriced that are still being produced?

Is it made in China or is it made in Sweden? I had one but thought it was kind of unremarkable so I sold it. Can't remember where it was built but the build quality was very reminiscent of quite a few Swedish-made blades I've purchased in the last decade (that is to say, rough). I'm pretty sure...
  15. What tt rubbers and blades do you think are the most overpriced that are still being produced?

The Hexacarbon is made in Sweden and still loses in build quality to $50-60 Yinhe blades. It's more expensive but for me still goes to bat in the same arena as blades like V14Pro/Pro01/XX-A, and for around the same price I'd rather have a DHS ACB. Still not a bad price for a decent fiber blade...
  16. Dignics and its Effect on Sales of Tenergy and Rozena

Glayzer is arguably the stronger rubber and is definitely more modern than Rozena, I think Rozena is primarily more easygoing but I think the kicker is that it is cheaper.
  17. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

The topsheet on N48 is definitely not the same as on the N50 and N55. N50/55 have opaque red topsheets and N48 is slightly translucent. To me, N50/55 feels almost tacky, N48 does not. Not to say N48 has bad grip, rather that the way that the topsheets interact with the ball depending on type and...
  18. XIOM new blades, any review on Tetra, Artemis, Chrome or Indeed?

I prefer Glayzer more on bh than on fh but I don't like how Glayzer plays on bh of soft blades as much, feels mushy and vague to me. Glayzer bh on blades like MJZLC or Stiga Wavy are great combos for me, punchy and responsive but still able to grab and spin well. I prefer rubbers around ESN50 or...
  19. What is most powerful Koto Top Ply Outer ALC blade from your experience

PC is T5000 not ALC and also technically not outer either because it is 3+2 composition not 5+2. Its also not "the fastest" blade that Butterfly is still making as they still have Sardius (~7.1mm thick) in their lineup, which is thicker than PC (~6.9mm thick)
  20. Downgrade blade back to all-wood?

Its not just a thinner version, its got a different wood composition too- surface and second layer are different in ALC.S. Innerforce Layer ALC also has a thicker core than ALC.S.
