  1. From Korbel to Viscaria a big step up?

I suspect I have been in a situation eerily similar to yours, and my experience might help inform you about what the right course of action is. I went exactly from the Korbel with H3 Neo/MX-P to a Viscaria with the same setup. In my opinion the Viscaria is the most well-rounded blades you can...
  2. Buying Haifu Seamoon boostet

I ordered it, they accepted payment, but it hasn't been shipped. It's been a long time, and I can't manage to contacts them.
  3. Buying Haifu Seamoon boostet

Unfortunately TTNPP is not shipping my order, so I have to refund it on PayPal. I'd rather buy from a forum member rather than a Hong Kong based site I can't contact. Does anyone have some seamoon boostet they can sell me?
  4. Hurricane 3 Neo Or Hurricane 3

Baracuda is incredibly spinny, but slower than other modern tensor rubbers.
  5. Evolution VS Bluefire

I've played both M2 and MX-P. The Bluefire series is bouncier with more catapult, while the Evolution series has more control and is perhaps a bit spinnier. I would also say that Evolution is more linear.
  6. Boosting help

What are the marks from? Is it glue/booster that got on the topsheet? Could we see a picture of the marks?
  7. Ask Kristian Karlsson a question!

Kristian, do you have any pro technique tips for us amateurs?
  8. German National Championships 2015

As much as I love Timo Boll, I think if both players are playing at the top of their game Ovtcharov will come out on top. He has the advantage of youth and power, and so when he's in good form I think he can beat Boll. EDIT: Unfortunately Dimitrij Ovtcharov has injured himself and must pull out...
  9. Ask Kristian Karlsson a question!

Kristian, I would just like to thank you for your work here! I have a lot of respect for someone who takes time out of their day to answer our questions.
  10. New Ma Long backhand rubber 2015

It most certainly is too hard normally, but you can bet that Ma Long's rubber is boosted to the extreme.
  11. Viscaria to Infinity vps

In my personal opinion there is no reason to switch away from the Viscaria. It is one of the best blades ever made, and there isn't much else you could want from a blade.
  12. China Trials For WTTC 2015 - Final Stage

You only say that because the big 4 players can be relied upon to consistently beat the other players. If Fan Zhendong went on a losing streak in the trials he would certainly be removed from the running. The same is true for the other players.
  13. TableTennisDaily visit China STIGA Team 2015!

I'm also excited for videos of the players training!
  14. TableTennisDaily visit China STIGA Team 2015!

Get as much video of the top chinese men practicing as possible! The more such video we have the better!
  15. What did you learn in 2014?

I only started a year and a half ago, but the latest thing I learned in 2014 (and am still practicing) is the banana flip! It's incredibly useful for aggressively returning serves, and I hope to master it before I go to compete in the spring semester.
  16. How many reglues before the TB ALC outer ply becomes softer?

I recommend sealing the blade. It doesn't change the play much, but it protects the wood from water in glues.
  17. Bats of the German League Players - Gallery!

It's interesting how many players don't use Tenergy - I would expect fewer! It seems that the standard alternatives to Tenergy among pros are Bluefire M1, Tibhar MX-P, and perhaps Joola (Quadri Aruna). I also recall that Kristian Karlsson uses Calibra LT.
  18. World Team Cup 2015

Thank you for all the videos! Unfortunately no one can really contest the Chinese players. One wonders if teams will ever be able to.
  19. Q: What rubbers are suitable for my Viscaria? (FH/BH)

I would contend that any rubber works well with the Viscaria. I consider it the perfect blade; controllable, powerful, and friendly. I've had good experiences with Hurricane and Bluefire though, so consider those!
  20. Fan Zhendong's Equipment

It's well known that Chinese players boost their Hurricanes heavily - they also use heavier blades that you normally find in production, so they get maximum power.
