  1. Need help for classic defender setup

Hello there!!! I've been playing as a chopper for a while now and im enjoying it very much. One thing im becoming aware is that i tend much more to try a FH Chop than a counterattack/lob/fish, and for me it is really satisfying. With my current setup, Vioncello +G-1 Max + Curl P1 1.7mm i can...
  2. Table tennis 11.com

Tabletennis11 is one of the most trustworthy dealers among TT. Its customer service, quality of products and employees patience and will to help is top notch. I bought there several times, and every single time they gave a personalized service, answering all my questions and listing weights of...
  3. Donic alternatives to Xiom DF rubbers! Please advise!

Why dont you just use them? Price? Avaiability? Well...the closest i can think of are Acuda S2 > Vega Asia and Baracuda BigSlam > Vega Euro. Although the hardness arent the same -yet close- the characteristics are very similar. Throw Angle, Catapult, Trajectory and Spin/speed
  4. Slower Clipper alternatives

I have/had a few of those clipper-clone/similar blades. The best "slower clipper" imo is Nittaku Ludeack. 7ply 6.6mm Off-/All+. It is veeeery soft, very stiff and moderate to lots of vibration, but not like a tamborine. A very clear feed back. It goes very well with chinese rubbers and uber hard...
  5. The search for a blade continues...

Infinity, Ludeack, Korbel, Offensive S, Avalox P700...Any limba top should be what youre looking for. What about flex? Do you prefer a flexy or a stiff blade?
  6. Share your Racket's Photo

The ones im currently using. Most may find them slow but theyre just perfect for me. Better use your body than use super fast stuff to generate speed. Hurricane Long V - H8 FH (non boosted) and Evo EL-S BH Violoncello - Fastarc G-1 FH and Curl P1-R 1.2mm BH Excellent A - Fastarc G-1
  7. DHS Hurricane Hao II alternative

Hao II is just koto-spruce right? Then there is some blades with same construction such as Avalox P500, Xiom Fuga, DHS Hurricane WQ(although thicker), Hao I and OSP V'King. With a similar playability and feel but slightly different construction there is the Yasaka malin extra offensive.
  8. FH rubber for one-ply hinoki

I think he is confusing bottoming out with sinking effect of the rubber.
  9. FH rubber for one-ply hinoki

You can try 729 higher green sponge ( i think the green sponge is the higher III) just to see how it goes. It has half of a H3 tack and if you boost it, it becomes very bouncy ( for a chinese rubber). I think it costs around 10USD. For more expensive alternative i think Xiom Tau will do. I ve...
  10. FH rubber for one-ply hinoki

Cazuo Matsumoto, athlete of Torún in polish league, uses a Cypress Black i think with a Spinart. Sure, hes nowhere like a traditional jpen like Kim Taek Soo or Ryu Seung Min, but he sure gets the most of this combination with insane spin manipulation and overdrives near table. If youre interest...
  11. Any top ranked player with short pimp rubber ?

Also Wang Yue Gu and Tan Ruiwu
  12. Spinner Backhand Rubber

Dawei 2008 XP Super Power. ive been using this pretty cheap rubber on forehand of a Defplay and also as backhand on a P500. I got really surprised by its spin capability and also awesome grip. Its a spinnier and faster Sriver. Just dont flat hit that much, sometimes it is unpredictable when hiting
  13. How critical is an over-sized blade for defending/chopping?

I have a Defplay senso which is 164x157. Wonderful control, i have no complain about it. But even having this 'proper" setup, i still prefer my Violin(156-149?) with P1R 0,5mm. Reaaaaly small sweet spot for chopping (thats why larger blades are prefered) but as ive been playing with this blade...
  14. Katana Platinum Special CP

4 out of 5 rating for Katana Platinum Special CP This blade is utterly fast. I have a lot of trouble keeping my topspin on the table. Dont even have to use my body. I paired it with Vega Asia Fh Vega Europe BH. It has a medium throw. Using Vega Asia on Cho Tokusen gave me a slightly higher...
  15. Violin

5 out of 5 rating for Violin It was the last blade of the musical instruments line i bought but is by far the best. No vibration, awesome feeling, blocks, topspin, serves...all good. The best experience i had was with medium/hard rubbers like Rakza 7, Adidas P7 and Fastarc G-1(the sponge is...
  16. Acoustic Carbon

5 out of 5 rating for Acoustic Carbon I played with this blade for about 3 months. I tried with Omega IV Asia, FastArc G-1 and S-1. I wouldnt compare this blade to Acoustic but to Tenor. This blade is very stiff with long dwell. Its hardness is something like Tenor on low and medium gear, on...

This blade is utterly fast. I have a lot of trouble keeping my topspin on the table. Dont even have to use my body. I paired it with Vega Asia Fh Vega Europe BH. It has a medium throw. Using Vega Asia on Cho Tokusen gave me a slightly higher arc. The speed i think is a bit too much. I have some...

  20. How to punish long serves

take a step back from the table. its easier to advance than retreat. set up your legs like 10-4 o clock(left/right leg if youre righ handed) will also helps with forehard loop and wont hinder your backhand. Maybe youre so much into a short game, wanting a shortgame, prepared for it and a simples...
