If you want something light, I would recommend Andro Temper Tech off. It is definitely lighter and faster than your stratus powerwood. It is also an all wood blade so the feeling is pretty good for all aspect of your strokes needed.

I never use TA5. But I was using EL-S in the past and now I'm using Gold Arc 5. EL-s is a little bit faster than Gold Arc 5. Why don't you try andro rasanter, bluestorm, MX-P, or Tenergy if you really want a faster rubber ?

If you want to buy Tibhar stratus powerwood, just go with it. It is a very nice all wood blade. Judging from its composition (limba and ayous wood) it should be a flexible blade and quiet fast. Anyway can I know what is you last blade ? Maybe some member of this forum can give you more insight

Your blade is fine dude. Mine is worse than that. Unlike rubbers, blades don't have a life time. It last forever until you bored and want to buy something else.

Maybe because of its provincial and national version ? The price increase significantly with those version and so does the quality. The store owner where I bought my DHS rubber also said that Provincial and National version more durable than the commercial one. Someday I'm looking try those out...
