  5. Shoe insoles

Hi guys, thanks for all your inputs! This is an almost 1 year old thread and the problem was solved months ago. After making a serious research on different types of insoles and socks I decided to first change the shoes and see the results. For my surprise (actually I should have expected it)...
  6. Goiabao 5 rubber recommendations

I have tested it with Stiga Mantra M, Tibhar EL-S and ended up having 729 Higher and 729 Faster at the moment. I didn't like any of them particularly but the Mantra M was the closest to my style and liking. As AndySmith said it all depends on your personal preferences.

  10. DHS Rubber Quality

I had that same problem with 2xHurricane 8. Soon after I glued them the topsheets on both started peeling off (no problem with the sponge). I sent an email to the store I bought them from. They asked for pictures which I straight away sent and they came back to me with the conclusion that it was...

  12. DHS Hurricane 8 - loss of tackiness

Thanks Suga D and Hamasaki_Fanz! Why is it then when a new rubber is unpacked it is much stickier? And what is it when touched there is something "oily" left on the fingers? I thought the shininess comes from the same "thing" that sticks on the fingers, therefore more shininess, more...

  14. DIY return board - Anyone else made one ?

Providing you are gluing 2 rows of 4 sheets of rubber to a piece of plywood the size of the return board would be roughly 36cm×72cm (standard rubber sheet is 17-18cm square approx.). The plywood I just picked online 0.55cm×60.6cm×122cm is way bigger (almost double the size of the board being...
  15. DIY return board - Anyone else made one ?

It depends on the tripod of course. The type and size of material used for the board would affect it too, but I hope you are not planning to use concrete :) The variety of tripods is enormous. Some might not be suitable but others would be more than strong enough. Keep in mind that some of the...
  16. DIY return board - Anyone else made one ?

Hi Andy, For the angle adjustment you can use a photo camera tripod. If you already have a tripod all you need is a spare camera plate which is mounted on the camera. Mount the plate to the return board so you can use the quick release button on the tripod. Martin I just noticed the original...

  18. Shoe insoles

Hey, TTHopeful, as we all know intensive movement in shoes causes friction and if the rubbing between human skin and the material of the shoe continues long enough blisters are created. So the idea behind having insoles in the shoes is stopping/limiting that unwanted excessive movement which...
