  4. Can gambling affect tt results ?

www.setka-cup.com is brilliant.lots of live TT matches streamed online.Varying standards but very addictive. There are hundreds of players who play in what appears to be enclosed rooms with only the players and an umpire present.I think we will all see players we can relate to as it's just like...
  5. Is Harimoto's screams disrespectful to the opponent?

More annoying for me was the clapping in particular from the Korean coach when his player won a point! It continued right up until a second or so before the next service. Especially irritating during the early stages when there was no crowd and hall was almost silent.

  8. Cross Laterality and Table Tennis

Surely for TT players you are better looking at the dominance of hand and EYE rather than hand and foot?
  9. Cho! Cho le!

Good post. I often wonder how it is perceived by players and opposition players? Is it simply a self congratulatory shout or is it maybe seen as having a go at the opponent? When is it OK to shout it? If your opponent puts a serve into the net is it acceptable as you have forced your opponent...

  12. Glasses and Table Tennis

Did you tell your eye doctor/optometrist that you play table tennis? There are certain frames that will be much better for playing sport then others. there are also certain adjustments that could be made to the way the spectacles fit on your face.So I would suggest you return and explain the...
  13. Indestructible Ball using 3D Printer

I see no reason why a 3D printer cannot produce a good quality TT ball in the near future. Ive often found it strange there are apparently so few factories able to make 3* quality balls? i wonder if it is just a financial decision?Perhaps there is not enough profit in such a venture. However with...

  15. Three Table Tennis Books Out

Just finished the book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I really like the way the author intertwined his own life with major events in World Table Tennis. Some very thought provoking discussions around rubber and also the balls. 17. Three Table Tennis Books Out

Very complimentary post for Graham! I am sure he will be very humbled to receive such a great review from such a well respected TT person. TT Tactics for Thinkers is an excellent read too and I often read it the night before league games. I find the chapters on playing unusual styles to be...

I spotted another new book at the weekend which is called "Ping" and is written by Englishman Graham Frankel.
