  1. Best Long pips OX for ATTACKING

It's actually not about long pips (or SPs or antis) itself, imo, at least not when dealing with this kind of troll. He might have been a long pips player once and is perhaps now disgruntled about the way TT is heading "materialwise" in general. But, the thing is, that he's trolling mainly for...
  2. Best Long pips OX for ATTACKING

Well, I'm certain that he is. Just look at his ramblings in the thread about "doubles from different continents", specifically the last paragraph in post # 10 about booster surpremacists, ITTF's supposed fake whinings about wanting longer rallies, the supposed discrimination of choppers etc...
  3. Best Long pips OX for ATTACKING

Diego, don't waste your time with Bersof. He's a troll.
  4. Huge blade repository/database found

 Of course, that would be "slightly unfortunate"...
  5. Huge blade repository/database found

Perhaps, yes, it is more like an (ever) ongoing accumulation of blade compositions which at least in some instances should be taken with a big grain of salt. If someone is really interested in a certain blade composition, one should always double (or triple) check with other sources.
  6. Huge blade repository/database found

That is indeed a pretty enormous list, to say the least. However, as I checked some of the "usual suspects" (Viscaria, Boll ALC, Innerforce blades etc.) and some of my own blades I noticed that this list sometimes contains (unfortunately) the same mistakes we've seen, heard and read about over...
  7. Haven't tested this one yet...

Really? That's pretty amazing. Because just as SlowPower mentioned the colour seperation does look very sharp, kind of artificial. But I do believe you if you say that it's not jointed. Happy "accident" by nature I guess.
  8. Haven't tested this one yet...

Very nice indeed. I appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into blades like this (or Vipers one for that matter). They are (oftentimes) more like pieces of art - rather than a piece of sport equipment - that belong in an art gallery next to paintings of Dali and Picasso...:)
  9. Haven't tested this one yet...

Visually it is a very appealing blade. The top ply is surely a joint one comprising of black limba and regular limba. Did you do the joint yourself or can you actually order a pre-assembled joint block of that kind?
  10. Haven't tested this one yet...

Someone asked that very same question on a german forum, too. People who ordered blades had been in contact with him. It appears that he is absolutely loaded with work. Good for him, actually. He will post again as soon as he has more time.
  11. Sauer & Tröger Zhero

I could easily get it for 114,90 € because I never choo, and I intend to never do so...
  12. tabletennisshop.eu legit?

Yup, had it looked up just before you posted. That doesn't necessarily mean, that other ("physical") shops, where you can actually go to, cannot carry Butterfly products. At least in Germany quite a few non-Butterfly shops have (some) Butterfly products (seen it in Berlin), but they are not...
  13. tabletennisshop.eu legit?

I find it unusual that this shop also offers Butterfly stuff (online). Given Butterfly's strict distribution rules, that should't be possible, i. e. allowed, I think.
  14. How many layers of booster on Hurricane 3-38' Pro Orange Sponge Normal (not neo)

I wouldn't call myself an expert regarding boosters, but, as I said, I've done it before. although I haven't used the white one yet. I've used the regular Haifu Seamoon as well as the National Black for Chinese rubbers like H3, Sanwei Target National etc. and Dymax Maximizer for ESN and Tenergy...
  15. How many layers of booster on Hurricane 3-38' Pro Orange Sponge Normal (not neo)

Is there something wrong with it? Ineffective? Just asking because I have a bottle myself and I intend to boost a Vega China with it...and yes, I have boosted before, plenty of times.
  16. Lower quality of table tennis blades - Donic

Yes...does that surprise you? Soulspin - aside from their own blades - produces blades for brands such as Nittaku (Basaltec series as well as the S-series), Donic and Andro, predominantly with spruce top plies.
  17. Do Butterfly blades have hollow handles?

Yes, apparently so. If you scroll down to post #18, you can see that the neck of the Timo Boll T5000 is/was hollowed out, the handle caps are/were solid, though. https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/i-made-a-timo-boll-alc-cybershape.31269/ I remember that in a similar thread years ago...
  18. Does anybody know who this German player is?

That's Björn Helbing. He is product manager for Andro and (therefore) also associated with the retailer/shop "Schöler und Micke", one of Germany's biggest TT retailers. Björn played 2./3. Bundesliga in Germany for many years (now a little lower) and won some titles as a junior. His rating in...
  19. Need help with finding old balls

You might want to look here. http://www.minkow.com.cn/White-38mm-table-tennis-balls That place might be the easiest way to get some nowadays...aside from waiting until some of them pop up on Ebay. I have 30 of these 38mm balls. 15 I got from TT11 about 2-3 years ago and the other 15 from...
  20. Tibhar blade closest to Viscaria?

That would nowadys be the No. 1 choice for a Viscaria replacement, within the Tibhar portfolio. A few years ago it was the Drinkhall Powerspin Carbon. It is still available and cheaper than the MK Carbon.
