  1. China Super League (CTTSL) 2012 Finals

Wang Liqin too. On the women's side, Liu Shiwen, Ding Ning, Guo Yan, Guo Yue, Li Xiaoxia are all in the semis. This is strange scheduling. The Austrian Open is a big tournament, not "super" but "major" (unlike the Spanish Open, which is a "challenge series" event).
  2. China Super League (CTTSL) 2012 Finals

@Tommy Lee: Are you sure that the finals will take place Jan 22-27 and not a week earlier? That would conflict with the Austrian Open where the top Chinese players are entered.
  3. German Cup 2012 - Live Stream Now

1pm in Germany, I guess that's 12 noon for you guys. Semis will be Dusseldorf against Bremen (which will certainly be the match shown on the stream) and Fulda against Velbert. Final scheduled for 4pm.
  4. German Cup 2012 - Live Stream Now

http://ttbl.de/wettbewerbe_pokalmeisterschaft Velbert just beat Pluderhausen 3-0, big upset. Dusseldorf is leading Saarbrucken 2-1, Boll can clinch it now against Tokic.
  5. German Cup 2012 - Live Stream Now

You have the wrong list of teams (from last year?): Ochsenhausen, Grenzau and Frickenhausen II didn't qualify. After this match we should see Bremen vs Frickenhausen. On the other table the 2nd-division Velbert has a surprising lead over Pluderhausen. Fulda will then play another 2nd-division...
  6. Best Shot's of the Year 2012 (POLL)

Now the Huffington Post has picked this up too. But they really don't like the music ;) "(Seriously, the score for this highlights reel is like the Trans-Siberian Orchestra meets that time your friend's aspiring DJ ex-husband showed you his "bangers.")"
  7. Volkswagen 2012 Women's World Cup

    # 1 and 2 were invited but chose not to play... Ishikawa was told to withdraw because the Chinese can't guarantee her safety... - only 3 out of the top-10 remain. # 369 wasn't really part of the "World Cup", only the "Intercontinental Cup". # 85 Ariel Hsing just qualified for the World Cup...
  8. China Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

Wang Liqin played at the "other" China Open in May - lost to Ma Long. Chen Qi last played a World Tour in January - also lost to Ma Long. Fang Bo is getting another chance, let's see how well he can do this time. He's not seeded so might need a good draw.
  9. Ma Long not invited - World Cup 2012

There will be 3 Chinese in the women's world cup - Li Xiaoxia got a wild card. But that tournament will take place in China, not in England... I'm pretty sure the ETTA pushed for Pitchford - what do the British fans think about this?
  10. Adham Sharara wishes Ding Ning Gold

All the controversial scenes are here:
  11. London 2012 Olympics (Singles)

They will be in the same team again next season, as Chuang is joining Crisan in Bremen.
  12. Fred play's Chen Qi - Leeds! (VIDEO)

Yes, definitely Fan Ying. And is that Kong Linghui giving tips?
  13. Where to watch the olympics

That probably won't help you with the live streams from the Olympics, it's a different setup: http://www.nbcolympics.com/liveextra/help/index.html
  14. Where to watch the olympics

No, that's the ETTU site, they don't have the rights either. Eurosport will show a little bit. Otherwise it's probably up to the main national TV channels who purchased the rights for each country.
  15. Where to watch the olympics

Verification requires entering username and password for a valid account with a cable provider. So if you can get someone to give out his username and password, you might have a chance - good luck ;)
  16. Where to watch the olympics

itTV won't show video because ITTF doesn't have the rights for the Olympics. They will provide results, live scoring, stories etc., but no video. NBColympics.com will stream up to 4 matches simultaneously. However, access requires verification through a US cable provider - a user needs to be a...
  17. Xu Xin joins Olympic Team!

Read all about it here: http://ittf.com/World_Events/2012OG/4.Late_Athlete_Replacement_Policy.pdf All the teams have the right to bring such a "P" player. But let's just hope nobody gets injured, Chinese or not Chinese.
  18. London 2012 Olympics (Singles)

They did this once, for the doubles competition at the 2004 Olympics, in order to avoid an all-Chinese final. That was indeed stupid. The general procedure for the singles draw is posted on ittf.com, Zhang and Wang will NOT be in the same half.
  19. London 2012 Olympics (Singles)

That can't be true - #1 and #2 seeds (ie Zhang Jike and Wang Hao) will be in opposite halves, as usual. Also, note that the semifinal pairings will be decided by lot, #1 can meet #3 or #4 etc.
  20. July World Rankings 2012

Not necessarily, it depends on the draw (50-50 chance). #1 seed can meet either #3 or #4 in the semis.
