Funnily enough since this match I have tried h3 again and have been considering switching. My main concern is I don't practice enough to maintain the technique needed to use h3 most effectively. Thanks for the suggestion! 👍

I played He Zhi Wen whilst he was playing for Drumchapel. He barely dropped a set all season. Drumchapel were paying him per match and I believe he was also playing in the French League as well. So he was travelling between the two.

Sounds like you've got the right idea there. As long as you are both clear on what the aim of the practice is then it should be fine. I would choose 2 regular exercises such as 2BH & 2FH. Then BH, FH from middle, FH from wide. The final exercise I would add some variability either, 1 or 2 BH 1...

Of course we all saw the brilliant match yesterday where Timo Boll defeated Ma Long in a nail biting 7 sets at the mens World Cup. The day before Timo also took out Lin Gaoyuan of China. If Timo can do it, so can anyone? Over the last few years we have seen countless European players defeat...

I think ping pong is just very cleverly marketed. The organisers are all about creating atmosphere and a good experience for the spectators. They get to make lots of noise and have lots of fun. If table tennis was put in the same arena with same atmosphere it would gain the same popularity.
