  1. Observation on blade designs of various well-known brands(controversial...probably)

Nice post, very entertaining :). I've always valued the design of a blade and it plays a huge role in my decisionmaking which blade to buy/use. However I don't agree with butterfly being the best... I don't really like their design. I think Stiga actually has some very nice looking handles imo...
  2. Short pips out curious

Spinny pips like 802-40 35 degree sponge or spectol with one of the victas Matsushita blades or donic defplay senso
  3. Rubber suggestions?

Xiom Vega euro, donic baracuda, friendship focus 3
  4. Poll: Right Hand players vs. Left Hand Players

Wow I would never expect that Adam Hugh to be rated so high... Maybe if I watched more footage. But I'm not from USA so I can only compare to other USA rated players
  5. Poll: Right Hand players vs. Left Hand Players

    1st - defender vs attacker 2100 vs 2100 2nd - young guy - 1900 Didn't look at the last video sorry

Allround classic is slower than a defplay
  7. Tips on how to get out of push battes.

Practice lots of multiball vs underspin. Tell your partner to receive to your backhand heavy under and mixed light/no spin and you loop everything to a fixed position. You need many repetitions to make it work in a real match consistently.
  8. problems with technique (or new rubbers??)

It's fine unless you plan to counterloop away from the table. I know a player around 2000 level that uses 4 years old cheap rubbers on joola off+ blade and all he plays is drives and blocks half a meter off the table.
  9. Room size

7.5 m length is fine but the 2.6 m width might be a drawback. However it's still playable imo.
  10. Equipment Advice

Coach in my club who's around 2200 uses a 50 degree BH rubber vs 45 degree fh rubber so I guess it works in some cases :P
  11. Yuto Muramatsu

    Defensive style doesn't pay out.
  12. What is your rubber color choice

Maybe green or turquoise? (I'd pick white over anything but probably won't be approved)
  13. Strong Mind in the Match

I always keep poker face when playing. This helps me stay calm and concentrated without giving mental advantage to the opponent when I lose a point.
  14. Leszek Kucharski teaches a forehand

What do you think he could do better in his forehand loop against backspin?
  15. Possible to improve?

Thanks DukeGaGa, that's something I'll consider. My fh stroke is solid so that's not a problem for me.
  16. Possible to improve?

I appreciate your comments and advice. I reckon my playing style should be close to table as coach always tells to not back off more than 3-4 feet but forehand counter feels really uncomfortable from that close. I think one can practice easy technique excercises with worse players as long as...
  17. Possible to improve?

Thanks for the replies, I really appreciate. The 2200 rating is only a guess equivalent to the league I'd like to play in in the future. I don't live in the US. Also I actually get coaching but it's only about once a week or two. I expect the training partners to become better as I get better...
