Hi guys I wanted to know how the freitas alc is, and how it compares with the bty alc blades(viscaria, zjk/tb alc…). Is it stiffer? flexible? softer? easier/harder to control? I know that the freitas has limba outer and the 'traditional' bty alc blades having koto outer... what differences...

I think it is a good blade considering it is consisted out of ALC layers and hinoki outer layers which adds in controllability. As of my understanding, their speeds are as follows: primorac carbon>garaydia alc>tb alc>vis>innerforce alc I don't think many people even have tried this blade...

Many people say that the feel of the blade is most affected by the outermost layer. I don't know what type of wood the outermost pile is, but it comes off easily and doesn't have much vibration and is bouncy although it is a 5-ply allwood blade. 1. Can you guys tell me what the outermost layer...
