I do not know of any coaches or so in brussels as I am not from brussels but if you're ever around Sinaai on a tuesday or a thursday then do feel free to drop in
  2. First video to promote our club (cupmatch)

I'll try updating the site itself when i get more of an understanding how to do it properly. In regards to the floor. I know it looks bad (and it was bad that day) but usually it really isn't that slippery
  3. First video to promote our club (cupmatch)

I want to promote the club in my local area to get more youth players and ensure the survival of our club. Right now i'm the only "youth" at 23 years old. I plan on making more videos and posting on social media about things that happen (fun things and competition related) once covid allows us...
  4. First video to promote our club (cupmatch)

Hello there, This is the first video I've made for our club with the hopes of trying to promote it in neighbouring cities and possibly share the love of table tennis. Feedback is always appreciated! Highlights Cupmatch Troelant A vs Zele A (Preliminaries 2020) [Youtube]
  5. Besides table tennis, what hobbies/sports do you do in your free time?

Gaming and programming mainly. I'd love to spend more time on table tennis but with the club closed, it's kinda hard
  6. Hoping For Some Feedback Prior to Purchasing My First Custom Blade

I don't know that much but i can tell you my first setup. My first wood was and still is a Donic Appelgren Allplay. The rubbers on it were Stiga Mendo Energy 1.8mm rubbers or so which are maybe not so great for spin but good enough for control for beginners from what i've experienced.
  7. What are some great, inexpensive beginner rackets?

Thanks, i'll check this out soon as well. And you were very close, i'm from sinaai which is a town that's considered part of sint niklaas 😉
  8. Hello there

I don't know how the rating system works in other countries. In Belgium my "rank" is E6 and my amount of points is 513 as shown in the graph in the link below. The points change according to my wins and losses and based on this and the ranking of the opponents you defeat you rise or drop in rank...
  9. What are some great, inexpensive beginner rackets?

Why is having Ebony and/or Carbon harder to use by unskilled people?
  10. What are some great, inexpensive beginner rackets?

This gear is for beginners yes, it's meant as a loaner bat for new members to use for a couple of sessions so that they don't have to buy a bat before being able to play. The reason i haven't really looked to premade rackets is that they tend to be quite "expensive". Especially for a small club...
  11. What are some great, inexpensive beginner rackets?

Does it matter which chinese training rubbers we choose?
  12. What are some great, inexpensive beginner rackets?

Hello there, I'm looking for some great beginner rackets that are fairly inexpensive. This is not meant for me personally, it's meant to get an idea for expenses if we as a club would like to have some rackets available for total newcomers for a few sessions. Any suggestions as to what options...
  13. Hello there

This is my first time posting on the forum after followed TTD for quite some time now. I play competitive table tennis in Belgium at the club TTC Troelant. I am rated E6 513points at the moment in the regional competition (which sadly has been stopped this year). I'll be looking forward to...
