  1. Best forehand in the world ?

Ok, compared to a player like me, yan an is obviously a genius, has an IQ of at least 220. But I am just saying that compared to the players of his level, he just thinks less, has less variation. Obviously you can't be totally stupid to reach this ranking.
  2. Best forehand in the world ?

No, definitely not. Ma Long is powerful and quick but also has a brain and a capacity to play different kinds of shots when needed. And he doesn't hit the ball so early. He's not a robot like Yan an.
  3. Best forehand in the world ?

Apparently, six guys play better than him. But even if he were the best player in the world, I wouldn't like his technique. And I don't like his game either. It's a no brain game based on pure speed and power and taking the ball as early as possible. Really boring to watch. Points end too quickly.
  4. Best forehand in the world ?

I don't like yan an's forehand. I think his technique is a bit weird and not really beautiful. The bat ends its path in front of his eyes... Don't like it.
  5. Best forehand in the world ?

Guys, we are talking about forehand. Ok some will say that forehand lob still is a forehand, but I don't think it is the best way to win points in table tennis, it is just a way to save some desperate points, that's all. I am talking about top spin, or even push, but no lob, please.
  6. Best forehand in the world ?

Yes it is. Not for a guy like me, obviously, but if you watch a match between the chinese top players and timo boll, they hit the ball really hard on any of boll's drives, and take the point almost all the time.
  7. Best forehand in the world ?

I don't agree. Timo Boll's forehand can't be quoted as one of the best, because it really is too slow and allows the opponent to counter top spin easily
  8. Best forehand in the world ?

Hi, who do you think has the best forehand in the world? For me, overall, it's Ma Long. Far from the table would be Xu Xin. Third ball, Ma long. Counter close to the table, Xu Xin again. What do you think?
  9. Best server in the world 2014

For me the best server is the one who gets the most free points with his serve, either with direct mistakes, or with easy to play third balls.
  10. March World Rankings 2014

Following your definition of being the best, Ma Long and Xu xin suck. We will see in the next individual major event, but I really think that, by that time, he'll be the best. By far. He's technically impressive, physically perfect, and still improving very fast. For me, he could become the...
  11. March World Rankings 2014

Not sure he's not already stronger than Wang Hao... And very soon, he will be the best. Less than one year in my opinion. I think that physically, he's already the best. His only real fault is his serve. Apart from that, he's perfect nearly in every sector of the game.
  12. Best server in the world 2014

Not even. :)Actually, I noticed he always has a kind of pendulum serve move after touching the ball, but I thought he always touched the ball the classical way... Ok, I suck.
  13. Best server in the world 2014

I hadn't even actually noticed that ma long did the pendulum. I thought he only did side spin serves... Wow.
  14. Best server in the world 2014

Hi. Who do you think is the best server in the world ? I'd say zhang Jike, Ovtcharov, Wang Hao, Xu Xin... But not really sure.
  15. Something wrong with Qatar Open

Am I the only one who noticed it ? The crowd at the Qatar open ? It wasn't empty as usual. It was full of african people in the rows of seats. Obviously, Qatar wants to show for the world cup that they love sports and that they have an audience that's enthousiastic about it. So, they paid, or...
  16. penhold or shakehand ?

Sorry guys I am too lazy to write in english. I basically think that shakehands is not as good as penhold. Bon, vu que tu es français, je me fais pas chier à écrire en anglais. Je pense sincèrement que la prise porte-plume est supérieure à la prise shake hands. En effet, la prise porte-plume...
  17. Players You Dislike

Because the point ends in two shots, generally with a mistake. And also these two player obviously have a limited repertoire. They can't vary their game which is simply not spectacular. They look like robots. Xu Xin is a lot more enjoyable to watch, because he doesn't hit the ball too hard...
  18. December 2013 World Rankings

I think the only guy who's (a little) better than FZ is ML. ZJ also, maybe, if he goes back to his best level.
  19. Players You Dislike

Oh, and I almost forgot Zhou yu. Ugliest game of all time. Same tactics as Yan an, but instead of forehand, backhand. Should be forbidden by the Geneva convention. I also hope he will never become one of the best. Fan Zhendong's game is also pretty close to the table and powerful, but he's able...
  20. Players You Dislike

Yan An. His game is ugly to watch. He stays as close as he can to the table and hits all the balls as hard as he can. Either in and wins the point or out and loses it. I hope he's not the future of table tennis. Don't like Wang Hao too much. "Bad" footwork, predictable tactics, forehand not...
