I've just found out recently, in the current US senate, 53 out of 100 are Republicans, 45 are Democrats, 2 are Independents, but if you add up the tallies of those 53 Republicans...they have 15 million less votes than those 45 Democrats and 2 Independents combined. That means the side with 15 million less votes has taken control of the senate. This is frankly not an issue of "not enough democracy" or "no democracy", this is anti-democracy, that is, you are better off not voting at all. It's like a basketball match in which the score is 80-100, and you rule the side with 80 points wins the match. Can you stand that? Some then point out there is the concept of game, set, match in tennis, where the total points scored by the winner could be less than the loser. That is possible in volleyball and table tennis. That's how some sports work. But so what? Ball sports are not democratic governments or elections. Since you are promoting the slogan of democracy, but all the while not even honoring the "majority rule", which has increasingly occurred to the point of being institutionalized, then the US Constitution has effectively been toyed to death. I'm sure the constitution of every country has loopholes, but not every country is a superpower or the US...
