max wood

Hi, I would like to know if someone at the forum had use Yasaka Max Wood and Extra Special,because for my thoughs,they seem quiet similar,being the YES a bit harder on top layers(i might be wrong). Can someone clarify me what are the differences on them? Thanks Keep training :)
