slippage

How common is ball slippage for previous generation rubbers? I am trying out Baracuda Big Slam (a softer version of regular Baracuda) against a robot and I see occasional ball slip. I don't see such slippage with other rubbers. I mostly use Rasanter V42, V47 and Mantra S. Even fairly used up...
