Hi All.
A question re softer sponges.
I don't want to use Chinese tacky rubbers as I prefer the euro style grippy non tacky ones.
I have decided I prefer sponges to be on the softer side, say around 40 degrees.
I prefer the extra dwell time and feeling for the ball.
What I have noticed is...
Hi,
I am using andro rasanter R53 on both sides. During the first week the rubber felt very weird and hard on backhand. But after around a week now of playing the rubber seems to have become little softer, has more feeling and a pleasure to play with it. Is that true? Do even esn rubbers become...

Hey guys, I'm looking for a rubber softer (it doesn't have to be too much softer) than Xiom Omega V Asia in the Xiom series. I want the ball to get into the rubber more easily in my game (like vega does), but i don't want to lose much spin and speed too. The spin can be equal or at least like...
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for an offensive blade with a bit softer feel than Viscaria (which I'm currently using), with hopefully a tad more control and spin yet retaining considerable speed. My idea is to pair it with MX-P or Rasanter R47 and reach a good balance.
I've been considering the...
Hi guys,
I am wondering if soft rubbers are good for forehand. I have Bluefire M3 for my backhand, which is seen as a soft rubber, and it's amazing for my backhand. But I'm using M2 on my forehand but I don't seem to like. Would it be beneficial for me to go to a softer rubber? And which soft...
I have read several articles about the TB ALC outer ply getting softer when using waterbased glue. As the OCD'ing person that I am, how many reglues does it take for the ply to actually become softer and thus, become slower? I beg your pardon for my massive OCD.
There are several hardness of H3, such as 38 degrees, to 40 degrees. Would a harder or softer sponge be better for tuning with Haifu glue? Since the glue softens the sponge, would a softer or harder sponge give me better results?
Hey guys, im looking for a new backhand. Right now Im playing a Xiom Vega Pro 2.0 on my backhand. I love the rubber, fast with a lot of control, a lot of spin and no real catapult (so good for blocking too). The only thing i dont like is the hardness of this rubber. Its really a medium+ rubber...
