Anti-spin or long pips are defensive rubbers, no make sense using as offensive because really you don't have any advantage.
Short pips players doesn't like low balls nor long or short balls because these rubbers don't have enough grip if they takes the ball under the table, only way short pips are effective is playing close to the table & hitting when the ball is at the maximum height.
