I want to start this off with full honesty, I know that equipment isn't as important as technique and just straight up consistent practice. Also I'm an EJ at heart so please don't mind me. Anyways... I got a Freitas ALC as the title suggests and I'm looking for rubbers i can still learn with. I was originally looking at Rozena 2.1 on FH and Rozena 1.9 on backhand. Then i got into a rabbit hole of watching reviews about the glayzer and glayzer 09c. I'm really interested in glayzer 09c for my forehand since i like hybrid type rubbers but i am afraid it would be too hard for me to loop backspin balls (This shot is really difficult for me. I can loop medium/strong backspin balls 1-2/10 times. its just a shot i cant seem to figure out for consistency). So, should I go with the safe option of both rozenas? or... should i risk it for the biscuit with glayzer 09c on fh but 1.9mm with rozena/glayzer on the backhand. Again, I'm stubborn and know that the best option is to use an all wood blade with controlled rubber but disregarding that, what would yall do? what would you advice me to do? The setup I'm using now is the ma lin carbon with donic bluegrip j2 FH and Nittaku fastarc g-1 bh.
