No Rifones from me, maybe NO BTY shoes also from now on.
These are BTY Rifones bought 14 months ago, used for 12 months about 8-10 hours per week, the sole is like new as you can see.

The right shoe:

The left shoe has marks of wear in the same position but it is not torn yet. Seems that the "stiff/hard" BTY logo at this place did this tearing.
Yes I also experienced similar problems with my Lezoline Riffones, only the tear in the material was in a different location and some of the stitching also tore/become undone. This happened over about a year and half of use and I was also training around the 10 hours a week mark. However I did a lot of footwork training with them and did wear the sole a lot and therefore didn’t mind having to replace them. I don’t mind replacing shoes every year if it means that they grip very well on a wide range of floors, are light and have a lot of support as my Mizuno shoes were absolutely horrible on non-professional flooring. Even if the top end Mizuno shoes do grip better on professional grade flooring, the difference is not big enough to make up for the extra weight and less support when on professional grade flooring as well as the horrible grip and performance when not on professional grade flooring in my opinion and I don’t really care about the durability aspect as much because the Butterfly shoes are durable enough for me and I can get them for a good price from either Prott, a Chinese friend buying them on the mainland and bringing them back to me, Taobao or directly from Japan.
