has anyone tried Dignics 1.9 ? ( I hv FZD alc)
did it felt different compared to 2.1 ?
I have FZD ALC, and my previous FH rubber was D05 1.9.mm.

1.9mm is significantly less bouncy than the 2.1.version. The main difference in game is the speed - you need to follow-up movements with your arm during blocks and pushes.
1.9mm is noticeably better during slow spinny loops when you only brush the topsheet -- the sponge remains inactive during that stroke. I would say it's the strongest side of this rubber, since the spin level is practically the same as of the 2.1mm.
Speaking of powerloops, they're also surprisingly good -- the speed/spin of 1.9mm is enough when you engage the sponge. It's s much safer than the 2.1mm -- the percentage of balls landing on the table was impressive. The throw is a bit lower, but still surprisingly safe.

The major downsides for me were:
- blocks - need to block actively for the ball to cross the net. However, the 1.9mm is still somewhat reactive to the incoming spin as the 2.1mm version, it's just the ball lands shorter.
- pushes - it's a bit uncomfortable to push balls actively with a tensor rubber -- inaccurate movements made the ball go too long/high. The 2.1mm version was more intuitive for me.
- top to top far from the table. Goes without saying, the 1.9mm often fails to create enough dynamics there, and it's easy for the opponent to counter-top.

I am using D05 1.9mm on SK7 ( Bty seven ply all wood ).
1.9mm is
more controllable
less bouncy
and suitable for BH use only. On FH is a weak rubber.
